Genuine Cricut Maker Replacement Power Adapter

I have no idea where my Cricut power cord went or how I lost it, but of course I didn’t notice until I had a project that was pretty time sensitive. This one came quickly and works great for my explore air 2! No issues and I’ve been using it a couple hours a day for the last few days.

My Maker 3 cord got wet during a flood and this replacement worked perfectly

The description says it works with any Cricut machine except imagine and joy. It does not fit maker 3. The circle part the goes into the machine is too big and does fit the hole. Very disappointed. I have two shirts to make for a work friend and cannot now. The black one is original cord which cats chewed on. The white one is the replacement one that doesn’t fit.

I purchased and now have returned this adapter. We have a Cricut Maker 3. The plug is a little longer, but may fit. We did not open and try it. It was different than the original and I compared the numbers on the 2. This one is 18v and the one for the Maker 3 is 24v. So, we did not even try it in fear it could damage the machine if it did work. I feel the ad should state that it is for the Original Cricut Maker and not the new Maker 3. It was also going for twice the price, but Cricut was out and with shipping added from Cricut the difference wasn't that much. Haven't been able to find one for the Cricut Maker 3 here on Amazon yet.

I was skeptical of this after already purchasing and returning one adapter that didn’t work, but it works perfectly. I wish I had bought it sooner.
