My 23 Month Old Loves It!
I got the Magic Hair Fairytale Princess Dora Doll for my daughter. She really seems to love it. She loves to brush her hair and take it from long to short and back again. You don't need the wand to make her work which is a good thing because my daughter is not interested in the wand. I think this is a perfect gift for any Dora lover!

A must have
My daughter loves Dora and all I heard for weeks was how she wanted this doll. She got the doll and loves it. She is a great doll, she is not soft for sleeping though. But my daughter doesn't mind. Her hair also gets tangled easily. Again, my daughter doesn't mind. This is a must have for dora fans. Thank goodness they made dora a princess!! My daughter couldn't be happier.

Rapunzel: Latina Style
Rapunzel gets a makeover with the new Dora the Explorer: Magic Hair Fairytale Princess Doll. The doll was very fun for my daughter to play with when she opened it on Christmas day. However, after making Dora's hair get longer, then shorter, then longer again, she got bored with it rather quickly. Sure, Dora sings, compliments your child's own hair, squirts out a little Spanish and has on a fairy hat, but in the end the doll just doesn't offer enough to hold a young mind's attention. I'm not saying that I dislike the doll. It comes with a magic wand for children to use to magically grow Dora's hair, but I have to call a one-trick pony a one-trick pony. If Dora did just one more thing, this doll would probably be a keeper. Instead, it's already pushed to the side for other, more interesting toys like the Playskool skeeball game and even the Narnia Happy Meal toys from McDonald's. This isn't a bad doll, just be warned that after you buy this thing, your child won't get much play out of it.

Dora Fairytale Princess
This is all my daughter wanted for her birthday. She was extremly pleased when she got it. She carried Dora around with her everywhere for about 2 weeks. That was over a month ago, she seldom plays with her now..... the hair does get a little ratty from going in and out.

I HAVE BOUGHT EVERY SINGLE DORA DOLL EVER MADE AND WHILE MOST OF THEM WERE PRETTY LIMITED AND GOT BORING FAST, THE MAGICAL FRIENDS DORA DOLL REMAINED THE BEST IN ALL ASPECTS....UNTIL NOW. I AM AMAZED AT THIS ONE!! THE PRINCESS DORA NOT ONLY SAYS A VARIETY OF PHRASES AT RANDOM, HER HAIR MAGICALLY GROWS AND SHORTENS. THIS IS EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING FOR LITTLE GIRLS!! THE BEST FEATURE OF ALL IS THE BEAUTIFUL FAIRY TALE SONG THAT DORA SINGS. IT WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR STAND ON END. BEAUTIFUL. SIMPLY THE BEST EVER!

My 6 yo daughter is fascinated by her.
She responds to Dora's requests and plays with her constantly. She's been anxious to show her to all her friends, even taking it on an airplane trip 1400 miles with us. I thought Dora wouldn't be a long-term toy, but she still enjoys here 3 months later.

Broke Down
I bought this toy for my daughter for Christmas. Her heart was broken when Santa delivered her a broken doll. It did not work even after replacing the battaries. And of course, there were no more in the stores or online. Needless to say, I had to explain to a 4 yr old, why Santa brought her a broken doll. I am sure if we could have gotten one the was working it would have been great!
