Wireless Bluetooth Adapter for Bose QC15 and QC2

I don't consider myself an audiophile but I can certain appreciate crisp high quality audio. I do however consider myself a bit of a snob when it comes to brands that make great quality devices. Bose is certainly one such company. I've owned this pair since around 2015 or 2016 but with most headphone jacks in cell phones going the way of the dodo these have been in their case relegated to collecting dust. I was talking with a friend that mentioned some companies have been making Bluetooth adapters to push old tech into the current generation. After a very brief search I found this. My thoughts on this.. Pros Small, sleek, and portable. The device barely adds any extra weight and isn't noticable with long term use. The pair process is quick and straight forward and has been compatible with every device I've tested this on thus far. The audio produced is what I've come to expect from a Bose product. The charge on the Bluetooth piece is a good couple or hours of continuous listening and recharging doesn't seem to take very long. Cons The wired connection to charge this is older micro USB. If you are using your phone and have it your pocket and kneel down the signal will become distorted. The distance you can move from a connected device seems much shorter than today's bt devices. Overall I'm pleased with this piece. It's helped breathe life into an old pair of headphones that would have only seen use on an old ipod or with late night computer use. Works great for outdoor walks, yard work, exercise, or while just trying to enjoy your favorite music without a cord.

I highly recommend this Bluetooth conversion if it fits your Bose wired headset. I have an older pair of the Bose QC2 wired headset. The pads needed replacement and everything else I have is Bluetooth so, I had already put them in the donate pile. Fortunately I saw this attachment advertised so, I replaced the pads and bought this adaptor and I am so very pleased I did. The quality, fit, connectivity, and function is perfect. If you can use it, I highly recommend buying it for your Bose headsets. It works reducing the noise level as well as before if not better, and it simply clicks in place.

Very pleased with this Bluetooth adapter, long battery life, connectivity is flawless, fit my Bose CQ 2’s like Bose made them.

Sound quality is still better hardwired but they definitely work and are acceptable for when I don't want the cable getting in the way. I'm mostly pleased.

This wireless adapter is the coolest thing ever. I have had Bose QC2 headphones forever. The receiver I had them plugged into started acting up. So I started searching for new Bluetooth headphones when I came across this adapter. At first I was a bit concerned if the adapter for the QC15 would fit my QC2 . It fits and works perfect. It connected to my TV effortlessly. The design and fit make the adapter look like original equipment. The paperwork says the rechargeable battery should last 10 hours. Every few days I plug it in. No problem. The only negative issue I have is with the charging port. It is not a USB-C, but an older USB plug type. But, I'll work around it. I recommend this adapter.

This really helps make my QC15’s usable in the 2020’s where nothing seems to have a headphone jack anymore. The Bluetooth receiver works great, it allows you to pair up to two devices, and all the functions and controls work perfectly. I was skeptical of the sound quality, but satisfied. It’s not as good as the wired connection, but it’s close. In general it makes music sound slightly more muffled and closed in, but this really applies to almost all Bluetooth connections unless you pay a lot of money. I confirmed that it actually used the aptX protocol, and there doesn’t appear to be any noticeable latency when watching videos. The only real negative is the battery life, it won’t last long enough for a long flight, and you have to remember to power off the Bluetooth receiver & the headphones when putting them away. Overall, it’s a great product, and saved me from buying new Bose headphones.

I have a Bose QC15 that I was hoping to turn into wireless headphones with this product. I tried two of these bluetooth adapters and both were horrible. The first one had really bad and loud static and ticking from the left ear, the side the bluetooth adapter plugs into. So I requested from Amazon a replacement. Received that today and again horrible static and ticking from the left side where the adapter plugs in. I verified by using my original wired cord that the issue is not my headphones. So with that said, I am sending both the adapters back. I am extremely disappointed. I am not sure how the other reviews for this item didnt mention this defect. Would not recommend to purchase.

Wow! So great to be able to add Bluetooth to my old 2010 Bose wired headphones and be able to use them again. Installation went quickly, and Bluetooth connection was flawless.

Perfect for good old headphones to work with iPhone again

Uses Bluetooth codec APTX and compatible with AAC and SBC. Cannot use any of the high resolution bluetooth codecs however (Aptx-HD, LDAC). Have not used long enough to comment on battery life. Now my QC15 has abilty to use more advanced bluetooth codecs than my QC35.

The BT connection is great! No issues with the sound or distortion. It’s been 3 days so far, very happy with my purchase. Battery performance has been as per manufacturer’s specs.
