I have struggled with my teenage son and keeping his ears clean. He has so much ear wax buildup sometimes that you can see it coming out of his ears. We tried (and he hated) other methods of cleaning his ears because you couldn’t see what you were doing and it would just push the ear wax deeper.This ear cleaner has been a game changer. Setup was so easy, my son was able to do it without my assistance. And it really works! He is able to see into his ear and clean it without worrying about pushing the cleaner in too deep. He loves that you can just scoop the ear wax out. Bottom line is that it’s safer, more effective and “cool” to use. And he can do it himself!!! Win, win.Would 100% recommend.

I’m 30, every now and again I’ll wake up and can not for the life of me hear.I’ve had bad hearing (or what I thought was bad hearing) for 10 years.I bought on of these and pulled 1.9 grams of wax out of my ear, and a LEGO stud that somehow got stuck in me from 1999.I had an absolute wall of wax as hard as a rock locking up my ability to hear, and now for the first time can HEAR THINGS.I don’t even care if you have hearing problems, this is a MUST HAVE hygiene product, so you never get to my position in life.Cheers.

I have chronic ear infections, and this allowed me to see what's going on and keep things clean. It's a good first step before running to an expensive doctor's appointment. Just be careful around the ear drum.The app sucks though and forces you to watch an ad for the latest model. It's also cumbersome to pair to your phone.

One of the best purchases I have made. My daughter has significant wax buildup in her ears from getting tubes as a baby. She has a hard time with any solution drops because the sound it makes freaks her out. We also tried a water technique at the doctors office and that was traumatizing for her to say the least. I thought now that she is 6 I could get her to lay still enough to try and extract some myself. She did great & I was able to remove CHUNKS of wax from both of her ears. The picture quality is excellent and the tool is the perfect size. I would only recommend using this on someone who is old enough and capable of laying completely still while you are doing it so you dont risk poking their eardrum. Otherwise, GREAT product.

Here are some tidbits about this neat lil tool.Your phone connects to it via a WiFi signal, so you won't be connected to your normal Wi-Fi network while using the camera.Sometimes the signal gets a little weak if you go a bit further into the ear canal.It is pretty neat to see the inside of your ears and the picture is pretty good.The light gets a little hot after continued use but not enough to burn.Now the cautionMy husband excitedly crammed this in his ear and immediately tried to dig out a ball of wax with the tip. The tip promptly disconnected and got stuck in his ear canal.There was some panic and concern but I did manage to get it out with a pair of tiny tweezers.Not really how either of us expected it to go but luckily no harm done. Unfortunately he refused to use it again after this negative experience.

I used to use a water pick to get the wax out, first with a Dr's visit, then on my own. Always made me dizzy for a while, and would make a big mess.With this I was able to see exactly where the wax was and was able to remove it until I finally saw my eardrum. Hearing was markedly improved.It did take me quite a bit of time, as I was going very slow and didn't want to damage anything. I watched some videos on YouTube of professionals doing it, and that actually gave me confidence in knowing what the ear drum would look like and how much room I had in there.

I purchased this because i thought it would help me clean my ears out without pushing the wax too far back. I don’t think it’s a good idea for anyone to see inside there own ears. There is wax that isn’t problem but if you see it you will want to get it out of there. I got carried away and went back farther than I should have and it caused bleeding. The tip that they give you is hard plastic that doesn’t give. I think it’s unhygienic unless you clean the tip with an alcohol swab with every swipe. I ended up with an ear infection I had to go to urgent care and have them flush out my ears and used antibiotic drops for 10 days. I read an article from a medical professional that said unless you are in pain or your hearing is reduced don’t worry about the wax in your ears. If it is a problem go to the doctor and have them clean them. Please don’t use this product it’s dangerous.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but this has blown me away!!! I can see in my freaking ear!!! In the past I have had problems with ear wax but I never feel it. I am young and have trouble hearing because of the jobs I’ve had in the past so I never know if it’s wax or just too much background noise but NOW I know!!!I’m really excited because I can view pretty much anything else as well because I think the picture is magnified so if looking for a screw or anything else around the house I can use this.It has blown my mind. I really wish I had this when my son was small. I am truly excited about this little thing.
