I am a person who finds a flavor of drink they like and stick with that product as much as possible when buying, which usually means I buy in bulk as they are usually hard to find. A few months ago on a trip I could not find my brand/taste and that means I buy a flavor I like from another brand of energy drink. On this trip I bought Optimum Nutrition Juicy Strawberry and well now I've switched brands to this one. First, the taste is amazing. You can taste the strawberry flavor and I feel like it's got a creamy taste to it. I like a drink that you can tell the flavor is coming through and this drink provides that for me. Second, this energy drink doesn't have a harsh hit on my throat that a lot of 'overly' carbonated drinks do. The drink goes down the pipe a lot smoother than my old brand/flavor of choice. It also can be dangerous as I'm spending more money because I drink more of this because it's easier to drink. Third, price is slightly higher than my old drink (which I do still buy on periodically to switch things up) but I feel the flavor and smoother drink is worth the little extra I'm paying for it, my grandmother always told me you get what you pay for and I believe this 100%. Last, as far as energy and effects of the drink, I've always been one that very rarely 'feels' the effects of energy drinks and mostly drink for the flavor and but I do think this one has been positive for me.

This stuff makes every workout a great workout. I train in a fasted state (mostly fasted, just a serving of this with some BCAAs), and it seriously gets me going every time. I'm not exactly caffeine sensitive, I don't get the jitters or anything, but I have never really felt as though I'm getting too used to the dosage of caffeine I'm taking. Pros: It puts the pep in my step whenever I need it. A fair dosage of caffeine (50mg per scoop) that helps me get through the entirety of my workout. Some AAs for intra-workout recovery. And perhaps the icing on the cake, the flavor is immense. I haven't had a bad flavor yet. The orange is awesome, the lemon-lime is my favorite so far. I hate artificially watermelon-flavored things, but even the watermelon flavored Amino Energy is pretty darn good! Cons: I do feel the need to take BCAAs with this supplement, as the AAs in here are varied, mostly EAAs, but since it doesn't give an actual breakdown of the amounts, you have no idea how much of anything you're taking (just that you're geting 2.5g of AAs per scoop). I add 3.4g of BCAAs to this, and I find that's sufficient for my workout. I highly recommend this stuff. It's an amazing pre-workout, tastes great, and gets you where you need to be.
