SENSTREE G3/4" Water Flow Sensor, Food-Grade Hall Effect Sensor Flow Meter Flowmeter Counter 1-60L/min - Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Reverse Osmosis Filter Compatible

Extremely annoying that every water flow sensor I've found on Amazon has BSPP or BSPT threads. Why aren't there any NPT options? Yes you can buy an adaptor but the adapters cost more than the flow sensor and add multiple connections otherwise known as points of failure/leak potential, not to mention the extra cost and work to install. To add to the problems the flow sensor arrived with a corner of the housing broken off, bad packaging and poor handling by the shipper which is not surprising since almost all my deliveries get thrown onto my porch by the delivery person, they really don't care. I don't even know if this device works or how well it works because I'm not prepared to spend more than double the cost of the sensor on adapters just so I can install/test it. Update: I needed to get a solution working so I spent $40 on BSPP to NPT adapters and then found that the length of the threaded portion of the adapters is longer than the threaded portion of the flow sensor and does not allow the ends to 'seat' and form a water tight seal. Packing in rubber washers helped a little but it still leaks. I've now wasted even more money and don't have a working solution. This is ridiculous!
