I absolutely love this Omnigrip square ruler, though I must confess, I don't use it for its intended purpose of quilting! For anyone looking for a reliable, perfectly gridded surface to serve as a background for scale and context in product photography, this is an absolute must-buy. I place the ruler flat in my light box setups, and it instantly provides a clean, professional ruler display right under the item I'm photographing. The 1/2-inch measurements and cross-lines provide excellent, immediate scale for small products, giving every photo an elevated, clear, and informative edge. Compared to other ruler brands I've tried, Omnigrid is, in my opinion, clearly superior. The primary reason is the exceptional ease of reading the markings. The lines are crisp, dark, and the numbers are highly visible, which is crucial when photographing it under studio lighting. I have several different sizes of these rulers and use them consistently across various light box dimensions. The non-slip backing also ensures that once it's placed in the box, it stays perfectly flat and won't shift while I adjust the items on top of it. Whether you're a quilter or, like me, someone needing a high-quality, readable, non-slip reference grid for display and photography, the Omnigrip ruler is worth every penny. It's a fantastic, versatile tool that holds up incredibly well to constant use

Nice quilting ruler.
Size matches the listing and the markings line up with my cutting mat so it is accurate. Seems sturdy and worth the price. It is easy to use. I haven't tested the resistance to slippage yet, but I have a product to apply if it is an issue.

Omnigrid is the best
Omnigrid is my favorite brand of quilting rulers. I have a bunch of different sizes and they are all wonderful. Very well made and high quality. Clear markings and easy to use. I do put grippers on the back so it doesn’t slide around - but that’s all rulers.
