The bluetooth can be finicky to get it to connect at first, but aside from that, it works great! No issues otherwise. It is superrr tight on the port though, can be difficult to remove. It works with plenty of cars other than bmw's too - bimmercode etc doesnt, but this has it's own app, obdlink connect, that allows usage and code reading from plenty of other cars. Works for our honda and toyotas. I highly recommend, esp for the price and universal support, as well as the major functionality boosts for bmw's and supras.

Must have for those do-it-yourselfers that work on BMW cars. I've only used it once, and had to retry a few times to get it to pair over Bluetooth. Comes with its own app to help diagnose problems, but it would be better if it came with BimmerCode and BimmerLink which adds to the cost if you need to code and register any changes to your car. I had to buy this and then two more apps just to replace my battery. Comes in a nice case to store it in.

Oh this is a great product. I bought it to get the fake engine noise out my BMW because I had put in an audio system. Well, what you know I’m already changing settings. eg. Once I lock the doors side mirrors auto close. Open the door, auto open. I checked out a few more things but haven’t made any other changes yet. Don’t forget you still have to buy an app that goes with it for 49$. Everything will be on your phone for connection. It’s user friendly, plug and play.

The product comes with a free obdlink software that allows you to create gauges to monitor your car. It’s very versatile. Connection to the obdlink cx is easy and quick. To code your car, you will need the BimmerCode(paid version). The free version only allows u to read, but not amend the code. Coding is quite simple. It auto creates backup for u. For Mini Cooper, can disable active sound, enable sports mode on engine start, disable auto start stop, enable air con circulation to last use memory & auto fold side mirrors on key lock and comfort access(pressing the lock button on door handle for 2secs). And so much more

Fantastic product. Works perfectly with Bimmercode and Bimmerlink. Easy to use. Very good connection quality. Used a lot of the time for coding BMW cars.
