Works as Intended
I bought this bit just in case for the project of wiring my home for cameras, doorbells and other iOT devices. Turned out I needed this for the first cable I ran, and it came through like a champ.

I’m satisfied with the quality.
It’s suitable for drilling the desired holes in wooden posts.

Worked Great
The stone sidewalk I was going under was a little more challenging than anticipated, kept running into a rock or mortar that was deeper than expected. But no problems, the tip didn't snap off when it ran into something that wouldn't budge. Adjusted the attack angle and finally broke through, worked out great.

Works well, not quite a flexible as I expected
Start your drill slow, there's very little flex in these but they do work. On the whole 4 stars but 3.5 would be more accurate.

Drillin' and a fishin'
Application of this item is to drill up through a fire break inside the wall, then fish a 14/2 Romex cable up 7 feet to install in-wall speakers. After using a stud finder and ball magnet to locate the studs and drywall nails (added touch), I then removed the electrical outlet and drilled two 9/16 in holes on the side of the electrical outlet housing. These were my entry points for both the 54" 9/16 flex bit and my Rigid inspection camera to see what I was drilling into behind the wall. I was a little nervous applying force to get the bit to bend. Eventually, I gain more confidence and was able to apply pretty good flex and got it to drill upward into the fire block. I did run into an issue with the insulation. The bit got tied up a bit, when I was drilling - twisting insulation around it. No problem though. Just removed some of it at the top where my speaker cut-out is and replaced some insulation later. On the second speaker, I ended snapping the bit! Yes, as the disclaimer states, there is a breaking point. Well I know that is now:-) It was a lot of force and a very aggressive bend that caused it. I ordered another one today to complete the work. Luckily the bit broke with about two feet of it outside the outlet. I'll be able to remove it and start over with the replacement.

Flexible
Worked well for me. Easy to flex with right tools and dug right it when it hit wood.

Good but dulls quickly
Did the job I bought it for and at a good price. The biggest issue is that it went dull very quickly. After going though the first 4 jousts like butter it quickly turned into a struggle to get it though the remaining 8. I can resharpen but it looks like the metal used is very soft and it will be a battle to keep this in good working order. If I had to do it again I think I would pay a few more $$ and get a brand named one.

Worked for what I needed it for, good sharp drill bit. The rod itself is not that flexible but I just needed it to drill down through the bottom of a stud wall through an opening for an electrical socket to feed the cable through, twice, and it worked perfect. Never know when I might need it again, or friends/family to borrow.

This drill bit is exactly as advertised, it's bit is solid and it should last a few drill attempts. My advise to anyone considering it is to watch the mfg;s video's that describe the different Flex qualities of the various lengths. I bought the 36" length and the shaft is not flexible at all. Consider this when ordering, you may want to order a longer length if you need to control where you are drilling. Other wise - great product.

I tested this on my test rig and it works as expected. The flex of the rod is not bad.

Saved me lots of time from putting extra holes in my ceiling to run wire for pot lights. Went through joists with very little effort. I purchased the 54" bit.

Worked perfectly for drilling down through a horizontal stud to run cables from a light switch
