Alfred's Basic Piano Library Lesson Book, Bk 1B: Book & CD

Great gradual introduction to two hand playing and other skills. Fingerings are written in occassionally and the student does not have to move his/her hands very far in each song, allowing them to become confident in five note positioning.

Very good learning tool

Very good and right for the beginner piano lessons book. It helped my daughter so much in her piano learning steps.

Love these books. Makes teaching my grandchildren piano lots of fun!

Great book for beginning student. I am disappointed with the cd though. I should have saved my money and purchased the book alone for less. The book deserves five stars, but I don't like the cd.

I have used these books for years for my students. This order from Amazon was shiooed fast and cost was low. Everything was in stock.

CD is not there

Good

The physical quality of this book is very poor. Pages fell out of the book when we opened it. Color of the print is light, like you would see with a photocopy.

I have used many different teaching books but find these the most accessible for children with large print and simple pieces which have a clear progression. I find that children find tracking the printed music while playing when of the most difficult things to master and by having larger print this really helps. Just wish the universal editions were more easily available in the UK.

Great book for my daughters lessons, some really nice pieces and the cd is a great addition for playing along to.
