Invisible Doorstop Poly

I have had mine on my door going down to the garage and playroom for over a year now it’s the best I have two kids and always have a ton of people /kids over using that door it works amazing I am so thankful I found them I tried others the one on top of my door left a hole and the one I put on the floor almost broke someone’s toe ... fantastic idea and has worked amazing for me

I searched long and hard to find a door stop for my odd door situation and this one fit the bill. Installing the first one wasn't too bad, but installing the second one and trying to get them to work together instead of one stopping and the other not fully taut is essentially impossible. So, the reason for two then is so that when the first one breaks, you have a second one that engages. Didn't even last a month. Broke where it goes under the door hinge. Not sure I want to bother with a warranty type claim because I don't want to deal with reinstalling, but that may outweigh the hassle of trying to find another option for my stop.

I was not able to close the door after installation because the door moved away from the hinge side by the thickness of the plastic door stop (times 4) and hit the jamb on the door lock side. This would probably work fine for a door with lots of clearance on the door lock side, but not good for a tight fitting door. I did not want to try to make the hinge cut out deeper to compensate.

The item works fine, but it is not quite as "invisible" as promoted. However, it is less obvious than other solutions. I am disappointed at the shipping and handling charges though. I was worried when I noticed that the shipping was more than the item ($3.49 vs. $4.49), but I decided to order anyway. Much to my surprise, the item showed up in a small handwritten envelope ($.10) with $.70 postage. Really?? Now I am really upset because the 'handling' charge is more than the item ($3.49 vs. $3.79). This company needs to review their pricing.

I was skeptical about buying these due to the reviews. I’m glad I tried them. Bought two for master bathroom and closet doors. The original door stops were ruining the trim and marking up the doors. These literally install in 2 minutes. Just ordered four more for pantry doors, bonus room and another closet door. Just make sure your hinges are 3.5 inches and have three screws and you won’t have any problems. Bonus that they’re made in the USA.

These are awesome. No more of the door stop hinges ruining the trim or doors. Easy to install.

Easy install very effective

This sounded like a great idea however when flexing to install as directions indicate and slipping under the hinge it broke off at the bend. This was before even attemting to use it for the intended purpose.
