Does it eliminate the need of monitor for the artists on stage?

I use mine without using a monitor. I am a solo artist and set it approx. 5' to the side and about 3' behind me, angled to the audience. If I increase dB level on mixer output a little too high, I may get some feedback. Then, I adjust my mic and angle it away from the Bose. That fixes it.

only 60 watts array and 20 for sub woofer why so expensive

The sound of the Bose Pro 8 is very different than what you may be use to. Power is not the answer with Bose. I don’t know if you’ve priced PAs lately, but the Pro 8 or 16 is not overpriced for its quality. It is right in line with Mackie or Allen +Heath.

What comes in the box? Bose support says it comes with a carry case. D. Fanella answered a question earlier that a case is not included.

There is a soft cover bag for the array extension and the mi-high array. There is no bag for the sub-woofer power stand, but I believe a bag or slip cover can be purchased separately.
