I’m sad it’s over. I wished it would continue. Maybe I will continue it to solve the cliffhanger? Yes if i can spoil anything it ends on that. Sorry. Just be prepared. I won’t say why it does. You the reader and future readers will understand once you read it. Even though I wish most books I read get a movie or tv show. I really wish this series would get one. Heck I’ll settle for a comic. Easy 10/10. Just wow. Review: The best in the entire 9 book series - Michael Grant was super sneaky in this one and left the ending WIDE open for his audience to fill in the ending either in their heads... or as fan fiction. I do wonder if Mr. Grant would allow fan fic to be published. If he would, I'm almost tempted to leave my comfort zone of paranormal and fantasy to try my hand at maybe a novella told from the pov of a different rock born that wasn't introduced lol. This final volume is bitter sweet to say the least. Its the last time we see our friends from the Fayz and our new friends from the Rock Born Gang. There's so much left wide open, so many questions left unanswered, and so many possibilities. Like Mr. Grant, I'm curious to see what others would have the outcome come to. This final volume is, in my opinion, the best of all nine books. Its deeper and you connect with the characters much better than in the other two. I would advise that if you aren't a fan of cliff hanger endings, especially ones that will never be finished, don't read this. Just stop wherever you are in the series and walk away before you find yourself angry. I think I'll check out Mr. Grant's other works. I started the original series because the first book was a Prime Read, i have no regrets.

Fitting conclusion
I have really enjoyed all the of the Gone series and these 3 spin-offs did a really good job of taking the idea of mutant space rock morph people into an appropriate universe. I have always been reading the “Watchers” as being US the readers and I won’t say now if that is the case or not. Only that I’ve enjoyed the “Watcher” sub-plot. One thing is certain- the bad guys in these books are some of the most cruel people imaginable and every ending isn’t a big flowery happily ever after! I hope others enjoy this series as much as I did.

Epic conclusion
I've been a fan of the Gone books since I was a freshman in high school. With the final entry to the series, I was completely blown away. It is an insane rollercoaster of action and drama! It really pulled me in, probably more so than any previous Gone book. Michael Grant really pulled no punches with this one. It felt like every other chapter was a kick in the face, and I loved it! The ending was such a mind-bomb, I had to reread the whole thing! If you were ever a fan of Gone, this is a finale you can't miss.

Answers...but with more questions
What a great ending to the series. Being a fan of the Gone series, I was looking forward to this continuation mini-series. The ending of this third book answer so many questions. Of course, it also gives the reader about a thousand more questions to ponder, but Grant explains why he did that in the Author’s Note at the end of the book. I think good books do this - they make you question things, they make you think. Good stuff.

Loved the series. Shame about the wrap up
This was a fabulous series with fantastic characters and novel ideas. The conclusion of the series however was a let down. Stink.

What a fantastic end to this trilogy. Although I really hope another book happens. Vector is an amazing villain, scary, ruthless and completely evil. I whizzed through this book so quickly. Astrid's final confrontation with Drake was brilliant and it was good to finally see the end of him but it seemed a little too easy after everything he had done. The book is so well written you can easily picture everything that is happening and the way the group came close to being defeated you could feel the despair and desperation in the characters. I really hope they turn these books into a TV mini series / films. Hands down the best books I've read

Personally, these stories are the most fine craftsmanship I have ever come across. Quick and easy to lose yourself in. But be warned-this series is not for the light-hearted or the faint-stomached. A wounderous world of monsters, villains and heroes. Hats off to Michael Grant.
