Exactly what I wanted
I was looking for a lunch bag for my husband to take to work with him since we've tried to keep a tighter budget. Going out for lunch everyday while at work was taking it's toll on our bank account so I found him this lunch bag and wanted to give it a go. Got him black because it looks the best and most professional. It folds up pretty compact so you can put it in your freezer to get cold without it taking up too much room. So far after having it for a few weeks we've been very happy with it. It IS freezable so it keeps things nice and cold. It's a good size too. If you pack a pretty balanced meal everything should fit, including a bottled water or can of soda. I guess it depends on how much you eat. One thing to keep in mind though is that if you clean out your bag like I do make sure it is completely dry before putting it in the freezer otherwise you'll open it up and find some ice crusties in the bag. Disaoppoinment
Decided I'd break free of the disgusting work fridge, with leftovers which turn into science projects, thereby "Enhancing" the flavor of the delicacies we all cooked last night. I first saw this product one day at a B&M store when shopping for a holiday present. It was a bit cheaper here on Amazon, so I made the plunge.First, I pack my lunches the night before. Now I need to set aside a shelf with my organized lunch and take the PackIt from the freezer and load my lunch into it before departing from work. Not that big of a deal. I load the bag at 7am, put it into my messenger and leave for work. My messenger sits on the floor next to my desk. I eat lunch around 11:30-12. By this time, the freezer portion of the bag has a slight chill left to it. By no means is my office hot, it's usually 67 degrees in the office. All of my food items have been sitting in the fridge all night, so there is no warm shock capacity for the bag. I don't think that my yogurt has reached a dangerous temperature, as there is still a chill to it, but not fridge temperature. My guess is that it's in the upper 40's. If I had to push lunch to 1pm, I'd probably have to discard the dairy based products. I'll have to test at home one day and use the kitchen thermometer and measure the yogurt temp after that time span.If this item was being left in a hot car, I doubt that it would keep anything cold for more than 2 hours without bringing the foods to an unsafe for consumption temperature.

We've used these for years but they need some design changes
We have been using these pack-it bags for a while now. I purchased this NEW one to replace two others that finally failed. I looked for a BETTER bag or competitor to this brand but while it's not perfect, is still better than others that do not have the gel packs sewn in the bag itself. We alternated with two Pack-it bags during the 2011-12 school (each bag was used only two days a week). They were used only about 9 months and lasted about 7 of those before problems started. They started leaking gel through the seam stitches in the middle of the bag. The other major problem is the Velcro loses its "stick" and the interior looks grungy quickly because it is white.Recommendations to pack-it to improve on the design:1. Have some kind of seal tape at stitched areas to prevent gel leakage.2. Have some kind of secure snap closure or hook rather than Velcro.3. Use dark blue or black vinyl for the interior liner. The white shows stains and is hard to clean. It looks terrible almost immediately. With those improvements - it would be an even better product.

Was Annoyed but much happier!
My son was so excited to order this for "back to school" after seeing his cousin's...It arrived last week and we opened it tonight to pack for a day trip tomorrow, only to discover that 4 inches of the side seam is gaping open...How that wasn't detected is beyond me....When it is open, the whole side sags and gaps open...UPDATE!!! Ok, so amazon saved the day! Despite many purchases in the last year, I have not ever had to make a return and had no idea how easy it would be...My ripped lunchbox was taken away by UPS the next morning and a new and perfect one was delivered three days later, just in time for school to start....Amazon made it completely hassle free (ok, I had to tape the box myself but...) and I was completely satisfied...much easier than returning to a store....More than made up for it!The boys love their PackIt's...We'll see how they hold up for the new school year...

Awesome Baby Bottle Cooler
My wife and I love this product. We use it as a cooler for our baby's breast milk. We put this in the freezer overnight, in the morning throw the baby bottles in and take it to day care. We fold it up in a cubby and place the milk in the refrigerator at the day care. As long as the room is climate controlled this thing will remain cool enough to take a full bottle or two back home. definitely helps with ensuring the milk doesn't go bad. I am unsure how this product holds up in a hot car or if you stored ice cream in it (I don't think it's cold enough to keep frozen items for an extended period of time). Size wise, I'm able to fit 6 Tomme Tippe 5oz baby bottles a little snugly. This thing can fold up nicely even when frozen. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the fact that it can't stand on its own, since it folds up so easily it's not rigid enough to stand on a counter even when full, it usually topples over.

Keeps food cold!
We love this lunch bag! It really does keep everything cool for a long period of time. My husband took this lunch bag to work with various items in it and everything stayed cold. The only thing is I don't believe it stays cold for eight hours. Our experience is that it stays cold for about six hours. We have carried both food and beverage in this Packit. It keeps both equally cold. I would definitely recommend buying this rather than a regular lunch box or lunch bag because it's more useful keeping items cold and the ones you get a discount stores. It comes in a lot of great colors but it does come in a nice basic black which I like.

COOL COOLER!
I have used this a few times and it really does keep stuff cool. I normally use it for fresh juices I make at home and it keeps cool. Good size as it can usually fit about 3-4 flasks so good value for money too.

Decent Product. Very pleased.
Great product - good quality and sensibly sized. Used this extensively on a long road-trip and it worked like a charm, keeping lunch cool everyday - even in 35 ºC heat. Works brilliantly when you have a freezer in your accommodation and, for places without a freezer, we used a strong polythene bag filled with ice from hotel/motel ice-machine and popped into the cooler overnight. Size-wise, we used it to keep two large supermarket prepared salads cool + two yoghurts or similar or for multiple soda cans (up to 6). Have used it since for my work lunch - and it keeps things cool in the UK climate for even longer.

Very goos cool bag
Very good coolbag. Freezes in the freezer compartment. No need for ice blocks which would take up space in the bag
