BIG BOOST IN SOUND FOR COMPUTERS!
Easy to install - wonderful sound enhancement when checking many things on YouTube, whether exercise classes, instructional videos, or musical offerings. Much-improved subwoofer adds necessary depth to music - makes a huge difference! Reasonable price for game-changing sound!

Amazing Sound Quality
Got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves them! The sound is amazing and the bass is like no other! They also don’t take up too much space which is great for a gaming set up or smaller space! They are definitely very powerful for the price!

Yes & no, the GOOD & not so great.
Happy but disappointed in some areas. Let’s start by these are “computer speakers” & as a potential buyer, do not expect more & you will be fine. Hence 4 stars for such but perhaps 3 for other uses. Obviously they aren’t designed for throwing parties, playing in night clubs nor the home theater setup with a projector and or 100” massive screen. They are in fact pretty much just computer speakers and I’m pleased with that. I’m not a huge gamer. I only fly realistic RC simulators and or play golf & baseball games that are more than a few years old. These perform well there & I see no issues. However I anticipate the remote to be an issue, more on that later. Listening to music in general they sound fairly decent. Would these be my first pick to pair with my phone if I’m in a music mode, no I’ll leave them be as computer speakers. The bass, mids etc are noticeable as are lyrics across all genres except classical. If I’m streaming while working on a project on my computer, well then I am pleased. Now with classical music you do not have much depth or spatial sound & the bass disappears with some pieces so it’s a no go for Bach, Beethoven & Tchaikovsky. Depending on the age of recording I guess drums and large woods don’t exist in full sound, they’re missing ¿. But if you want some LL, Cube or Barry White the bass reappears. I do see a potential issue like I mentioned with the controller. It feels much more like a novelty than professionally designed feature. It lags at times and I question its long term survival. Additionally outside Bluetooth, they really lack any comprehensive choice of connections. You see the cost cutting there for sure. To summarize, hey a got a good deal on typical Logitech Computer Speakers but didn’t score a great sound system. They are worth it at the price point for general speakers. It is unfortunate you can’t control the sound any further than on/off/volume. But that may have been intentional to protect their lifespan. I dunno. Pretty much you’re browsing computer speakers.

Awesome bluetooth speakers!!!
These speakers are awesome! I got them to replace my Logitec Z337 set, which were damaged after being dropped from taking them from my kitchen counter down to my den.. The Z337s were no longer available, so I tried the Z407s, which were the upgraded model.. The new set is wonderful!! The speakers are the same legendary quality that Logitec is famous for, and the subwoofer delivers even more bass than the old Z337 sub did!! Super easy to set up, and they are bluetooth enabled, so less cords!!! Also, the volume controller (also helps connect the wi-fi) is of superb construction and seems much more durable than the Z-337 controller (which was the only complaint I had about the Z-337s.. The dial fell apart rather quickly! LOL)... All in all, the Logitac Z-407s are an amazing set of speakers that deliver excellent sound and bass, and are also a great deal for your money!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!!!!

Very impressive sound & great value for what you get
I have been using Douni bluetooth speaker for my laptop entertainment system for a while, but I needed some more refined sound with better bass, so I decided to give this a try. my first impression was it was solidly built. Heavy (especially the bass box) and they all felt premium quality, especially for the price that I paid. very easy to set up and connect via bluetooth. as you can see, it is 2.1 system, active system which means you do not need any amplifiers to power up all 3 speakers. it seems like there is an amplifier in the bass box that can generate power to the woofer and two other satellite speakers which does not have amplifiers built in. The small & round control is just wonderful. very discrete and functional that no one will ever know it is the remote / bluetooth control for the speakers. it works marvelously. As for the sound quality, it is very good for what I had paid for. first, it was loud enough, probably up to 50 watts or so. mid was clear and wide and higher frequency also was much more refined than my Douni BT speaker. but the bass was way too much for me. it wasn't flabby & loud bass. It still maintained its tightness and did not bleed over too much to mid, but it seems like Logitech's sound signature was emphasized on the bass. In most of cases, I listen to youtube music, so after researching it for a while, I found out there is a app for Chrome / Youtube equalizer that you can add into each page you open on your laptop. you can just google "equalizer for chrome" and super easy download. once I had that equalizer app on the youtube page, I was able to control the frequencies. THAT was it. now it was perfect. This Logitech bluetooth speaker is probably the best one that I have ever bought in that price range. Great sound, very nice looking and it certainly looks great on my desk.

Nice Sound..bad design on wheel control
First price is good on these. Speakers feel ultra light with their plastic build. They sound crisp and added bass helps fill the space up. Bass amount in not easily adjustable and you will be searching for software to help control this. Its very annoying not to be able to control this physically. It can be too much with the bass on songs where you are looking for higher mids such as vocals. For the biggest negative has to be the control wheel. I love that it allows you to connect to bluetooth sources such as laptops and phones however if you are listening to audio for a bit and somethings comes in too loud and you want to turn it down right away it can take up to 30 seconds for the wheel to wake up and connect to the speakers. This is annoying at night when everyone is asleep and all of a sudden a really loud song plays and you are scrambling trying to pause the music to wait for the wheel to wake up and connect. I really miss having a wired wheel from my Boss companion speakers. If you buy these make sure you have a pause and volume controls on your keyboard. Support will tell you that the batteries need to be changed but this doesn't help. Update a year later: So what is nice is that these speakers connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to your computer, laptop or smartphone. However if your computer is turned on\off, goes to sleep or resumes from sleep and you have a connection via Bluetooth the speakers will reconnect making the loudest beeping noise that can wake people up all over the house in the middle of the night.. It cannot be disabled or adjusted. It is super annoying.

A great sound to enhance your experience.
I love plenty of bass in my music. It adds to the richness of the sound. This set booms out a full body sound that rivals much larger equipment. The two smaller speakers gives a brilliant presence and fits nicely under your big screen monitor. The subwoofer can be under your desk with cables long enough to accomodate many locations. The puck control is a great idea. It works like the volume control on your stereo. Clock wise for loud and counterclockwise to lower the sound. One click and you can adjust the bass boost. A great package.

Logitech Speakers Dead at 24 Months
I purchased and received these speakers in February 2024. I am writing this review in February 2026. The speakers were connected to my computer via a USB cable (my preference is to use a wired connection instead of Bluetooth). For the money, the speakers sounded fine. Adequate trebles and mids and sufficient bass from the subwoofer. I never abused the speakers by playing them at unreasonable volumes. The problem, though, is the speakers stopped producing sound without warning. I checked the normal things to check - all cable connections secure, Windows 11 settings for sound weren't inadvertently changed, cold rebooting the computer multiple times, checking Device Manager to ensure the driver was current, and ensuring the computer could still produce sound with alternate speakers I have (it could). Despite all of these checks, the speakers are dead. Their new home will be in a landfill come trash pick-up this week. I ended up getting 24 months of life from these speakers for the $120 I spent on them. I'm not sure that's reasonable. Granted, I wasn't expecting these speakers to last me the rest of my life. But I guess I was expecting to get more life out of them beyond 24 months. It makes me wonder if these speakers had obsolescence built in to get us hooked on regular future purchases and a nice steady income stream for Logitech. If this is the case (which certainly wouldn't be the first time a company has tried to use obsolescence to pad their profits), I won't succumb to this pedestrian attempt at manipulation and greed. I do have a set of Bowers & Wilkins headphones that I purchased in 2025 and which produce incredible sound. I will be using these headphones to replace my dead Logitech speakers. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend these speakers, and I will not be purchasing speakers from Logitech ever again.
