I wanted to make a Kotatsu and this table has the perfect height/width/height for it. The price was also just right. The table is made of good wood. The surface is solid, clean, and smooth. Can be used as is or stained / polied for durability. The legs connect using a couple of screws in a few minutes and are very sturdy. This table is also pretty well price @ $160. Awesome table.

If I did not know, then based on the color and the weight of this coffee table, I would have assumed that this was a piece of American Hardwood. I'm glad that it's not. If it was, it would have cost a whole lot more. Yes, the table top looks like, and is, butcher block - but it is beautifully done. I don't know if the two saw blade cuts on the bottom were done on purpose, but they show the depth of the grain of the wood used - verifying that it is solid, even though in many pieces glued together. It is very well done. My tather made furniture and I keep running my hands across the smoothness of the sanding on the table top. The legs were very easy to install. I'll probably just rub an oil based finish on it and let time do the rest. Long story short - this is a nice piece of furniture.

This table is so worth the money. I love it. Very easy to assemble. The box with the table in it is 60 lbs, so I needed help getting it out of the box. I have been looking for a square table for a long time and the reviews were great on this table, so I bought it. Solid!

A very solid wood expensive looking piece of furniture, comparable to the square coffee tables you see for upwards of $400. that needs only sealant and or paint/stain. I am leaving it natural and applying wax. Much better looking and sturdier than in photo, which does not do it justice. Quite impressive for the reasonable price, heavy and very sturdy. Legs are like 4 x 4's routed and hand-tooled. Sturdy hardware and tool included. Don't buy the particle board and composite wood junk that is over-priced on other sites and your local furniture store. Great price, you will NOT be disappointed!!

This is a nice table overall. Solid wood, easy to put together, looks really nice - especially for the low cost! The only oddity for me - I ordered the lighter wood color and I swear the table is actually raw wood...like it doesn't have any stain on it at all. Not a huge deal since I can stain or paint it myself, but interesting nonetheless. A great table for our living space!

Bought this with the goal of staining it to match my entertainment center. It was a lot of work to get to the specific matching color but it stained easily and ended up exactly how I wanted it! Very easy to assemble and very sturdy looking table, super pleased with the final result. This was the result of a beige paint wash and three different stain combinations. Sealed it with a matte polyurethane.

Could not be more pleased with this table. Quality is top notch and so far we haven't even sealed it because we love the look of the natural wood. Would 100% purchase more!

I have bought multiple products by International Concepts, all solid wood unstained small furniture items and always been pleased. Unfortunately, the postal carrier must have dropped the box, resulting in the whole table top cracking beyond repair. The reprieve in this instance is that there is no shipping fee to return. The product is a 5, but the packaging is not substantial enough to protect it from our careless and irresponsible package handlers.
