Durable coating, will need two coats for the typical thickness found on hand tool handles, but sets up nicely. Has proven to be oil resistant so far. If the product is cooler than room temp, it will apply a bit thicker. Dry time was not a major concern for me - re-coat in 30, and let stand overnight.

Works and looks fine for most purposes. Most any petroleum based product will dissolve it, so not really great for garage use. Also one it is opened the shelf live is greatly reduced. So plan you use and use it all at once.

Good stuff! Each dip results in a fairly thick coating of an object. Dried color a LITTLE bit duller than the wet color, but this is not an issue for what I use it for. Once opened, the product is kept fresh with a plastic lid, similar to a pringles can lid. I hope it doesn't degrade as some plastics do.

Only sent one 14.5 oz can. Clearly said 1 pack of 6 and the price per oz figured for six 14.5 oz (87 oz) cans. They won't return item either. Mine didn't even come with the plastic cap to put on after you open. You need to dip at least 3 coats and wait at least 30 min between coats so mine will have dried up before I even get the first tool dipped. Probably an ok product but wouldn't buy from these guys.

Why don't all jumper cables come with coated handles????? This little package was easy to use. The drying/setting time is accurate. I am a very picky shopper, and this just made me smile! If you are tired of using tools that conduct electricity when you would rather they did not, this is your new best friend!

I bought this to dip the handles of my tools, where they come with bare knurled shafts. 2 coats minimum gives a good grippy cover, 4 is good and thick. The fumes are pretty hardcore and you really have to follow the instructions and dip and remove slowly, otherwise they end up covered in unsightly bubbles, but otherwise no issues.

Me gusta como quedan los mangos de mis herramientas e inclusi algunos cuchillos de cocina que ya están muy dañados por el lavaplatos... Problemas: Muy caro. Según vas utilizando, no puedes llegar a cubrir los mangos y ladeando la lata no queda bien... Según lo vas usando, se evapora parte del disolvente, quedando el producto demasiado denso y ya no sirve, con lo que se desaprovecha mucho producto... ¿Pero seguro que si le añades disolvente se puede arreglar? SI, pero Amazon no lo vende. Lo compre al reprensentante de PLASTI-DIP. Eso sí, si plasti dip te parece caro, vete pensando en desenvolver más de 20 € por una lata de disolvente..
