I love reading the negative reviews for this product calling it a scam or deceptive description, etc. It shows that you did not read anything. The stock photo for the item clearly says GAME ADD-ON. GAME CARD NOT INCLUDED.* If you scroll down to the product details, which you can find below the "Have A Question?" bar and DESCRIPTION, it clearly states: • 1000 v-bucks included • Download code inside box – no disc included • No cartridge • Note: To use this content, a full version of the game is required. Now, if you don't have the full version of the game or your kid doesn't, you need to download it from the Nintendo eShop, which is the yellow purse looking icon on the bottom row of icons in the Nintendo Switch home page. The actual game is a free digital download. It does not require a physical copy or cartridge, nor do they have one for the Nintendo Switch. This is an online game. Internet service is required. When you click on it and start downloading, it'll change from Free Download to Purchased. When you open the case for this GAME ADD-ON product, it'll come with a redeemable code which is in the white space just below the Joker's picture. It'll be a series of 16 letters and numbers. Follow the instructions on the back of it after you download the full game. Why would you buy the empty case with a piece of paper in it, if you can just purchase the same thing through the game itself? The same reason you wanna give any kid a present to open. It's something tangible/ physical for them. Their faces don't light up the same way if you start punching in a credit card on the game page for it to add these characters/ items onto the game. It doesn't have the same effect. Works for the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite.

As the listing states, be mindful that this is a game add-on and not a game card- which isn't necessary since the base game is available for free download on all gaming platforms. This game add-on includes three skins/outfits, three back blings, four harvesting tools, one emote and 1,000 vbucks. The physical case gets sent to you in the mail with a code to redeem inside!

We purchased two of this bundle knowing ahead of time that THERE IS NO CARTRIDGE. If you do not look at what you are buying, you should look very carefully at what you buy. Anyway, there was a unique code in each, and after entering the code, we each received three Joker skins, two Poison Ivy skins, two armored Midas skins, one Midas back bling, one Poison Ivy back bling, one Joker back bling, two Joker pickaxes, one Poison Ivy pickaxe, one Midas pickaxe (which happens to be two separate swords, and a Joker themed contrail. As someone who looks at the value of what he is getting compared to the cost, this was an unbelievable steal! First, in-game the set was $30 and we got each for $20 each. Secondly, compared to the number of Vbucks you would have had to spend to buy them that way (if that was possible), it would have been an additional $50 or more for everything together! Completely worth the cost for any DC Comics or Batman fan or Fortnite fan. Highly recommended!

just received my package today. i was nervous at first due to some reviews but the code worked!!!!

As headline states! Shipping time, initially, was anytime between April and June, so was happy that it was definitely on the earlier end. Needless to say, got it opened up and redeemed out everything with breeze! Ultimately, the downside of the product is pricing as they were a lot cheaper to obtain at release versus months later (but to be expected, I suppose). But, I am glad to have Joker, Poison Ivy and Midas Rex in my locker now!

I was thinking about getting this and then Fortnite released this add on directly through their game for about $30.00 with $10.00 in v bucks. It’s so much cheaper that way. If you can’t get your game on release day or anywhere close to it just know then it’s better to wait for it to come back to the market. And pay a fair price for it and not this outrageous price for the exact same thing. Anyways I bout it through the game itself and its decently pretty cool.

For those worried it’s a scam for the price, it’s not. It’s legit. Now for those that are expecting the actual game of Fortnite with it - stop it. Common sense says Fortnite is a free downloadable game and you would need it FIRST - in order to get the bundle. Buy the bundle - it’s neat and you’ll like it if you’re a Joker fan.

The code doesn’t work! Don’t fall for the packaging. Read the fine print. This is just a package mailed to you. No cartridge. The code doesn’t work. No download occurs. Then I try to do a return and they want me to waste my time to go to a drop off to return an empty box. This is a scam. My child wasted his gift card on this “game”.

Don't waste your money tells me after my son opened it as it was a present for his birthday the its expired or been used massive scam

It is not clear in the description of the item that there is no card inside and only code will be provided to download the game. Since my game console has no option to connect Nintendo switch online, therefore i had to return the game.

This arrived on time about a month ago. It was a birthday gift and when we tried to redeem, we received a message saying check the release date. I have only just contacted support and am waiting for a response. I am led to believe the release date was December 2020. Will let you know of the outcome. Outcome... It was not suitable for an Australian market! I was able to get a refund on the item and shipping cost. Very happy! The bundle decreased in price online and I did purchase it for a very excited child who loved it. I actually think it is very good value considering it is not a tangible product. It did arrive on time and in perfect condition. Worth the buy for any American customers!!
