I ordered 2 of these sets of spotlights and neither one of them had the remote to control them in the boxes. Very disappointed. Can't even check to see if they work properly. If I can somehow get the manufacturer to send me my missing remotes and I get a chance to try them out I may change my rating. Stay tuned. After some back and forth with Sunvie support finally was able to get at least 1 remote control to operate the lights. The lights are solid, not plastic, and light up my halloween decorations nicely. Will also be using them for my Christmas set-up as well. Like others have mentioned a little difficult to control multiple lights. The range of the remote is pretty far. What I did was get real close to the light I was programming and used a 2' x 2' piece of plywood to shield the remote from the other lights as I set them to the color and pattern that I wanted. Then all was good.

Initially got 4. We change the light color based on the holiday. Made it through winter and we have had them for over a year. 1 quit working but just ordered more. We live in the midwest so lots of below zero weather and temps into the 99’s for summer. Just wish it was easier to program each one seperately but since thy are all on the dame frequency u have to unplug each one, program it, unllug and so the next. Kind of a pain.

We put these outside by our pond and they worked for about two weeks then it rained and they filled up full water and standing water in them so these are not made for outdoor in the rain. It was terrible and we can’t send them back because it was 30days past return date do not use them out side in the rain.Thay are made for out side

Love these spot lights. I bought one set this year and one set last year. They work flawlessly together on the same remote. The colors are bright. The only catch is that if you want different colors is you have to unplug and program separately. I'll be buying another set next year.

I do a lot of lighting design and have been experimenting with various lighting solutions offered on AMAZON These are nice little lights perfect for large potted plants or small areas where you might want a burst of color. The RGB saturation is great yielding bright and rich colors but they are not very powerful and so will not throw far at all. This is not the light for a tree, even a small one, You have an effective range of about 4 -5 feet more if you are lighting a white wall or light objects. This is a specialty use light, use it well while understanding its limitations and you will be happy.

I use these outside to essentially light up a big bush. They work great. Nice and bright and most of all easy to use. Place them in position and plug in and set. I have mine connected to an Alexia outside switch. Works perfect. I did email customer service for an issue and they were quick to respond and correct. This product is recommended.
