If you have Winkler's disease (CNH) and are here searching for a pillow, this pillow was the solution for me! I have a collection of pillows (sadly) of different firmness, size, and even one I purchased previously with a hole in the middle here on Amazon. Didn't like the one I previously purchased with big hole because i had to keep adjusting the stuffing around it to get it to the right height/density and the hole was so large that my head was falling through. So I gave this new pillow a shot based on the reviews and design and glad that I did! I am a side sleeper who tosses and turns throughout the night and within 3 weeks of using this pillow my pain and embarrassingly large bump on my ear is gone! At first, I found the pillow a bit uncomfortable but that was because the shipped size of it was too high. You can open the pillow case and remove a layer of foam and once I did I slept great! The design is great because having two holes can accommodate either or both ears, and the foam is a good enough density where it's not too firm or too soft for me. Also, as opposed to the one-hole pillow I previously bought where I had to extend my neck at night to get my head/ear to fit, the holes on this pillow are positioned more towards the edge (not center of the pillow) so that I don't have to adjust/extend my head/neck as I sleep to find the hole. Interestingly, the pillowcase that comes with the pillow is not your typical smooth pillow case sheet. I was initially not happy because I tend to be a hot sleeper and prefer cool/smooth sheets. However, I have not had any issues with this pillowcase causing me to be too hot or sweat at night -- it's much more comfortable than I anticipated. So for me, aside from removing the layer of foam, the pillow has been perfect and has improved the bump and pain associated with CNH on my ear and improved my sleep at night! As other reviews have indicated, the pillow may be modified by cutting out some of the foam or using an oversized pillow case to fit in the holes (or if having matching color pillowcases is your thing) if that's your preference, but for me that was unnecessary. If you are a CNH/Winkler's disease sufferer, this pillow may be worth the investment. It was for me!

Game changer. I am someone who has struggled with severe tinnitus in the past. As part of my therapy, I do sound therapy while sleeping using a headband with built in speakers. This works great, but getting comfortable on the pillow without affecting the sound quality has always been a challenge. The blissbury ear hole pillow solved this problem. The hole in the pillow allows the speakers to not be 'squished' in the pillow, which can mess up the sound coming from the speakers. This can also cause night time awakenings. The first night I slept on the Blissbury I woke up and in the morning and immediately noticed my excessive amount of nighttime awakenings was no longer an issue! Also, the pillow is great and of high quality. I am a natural side sleeper who likes firmness from my pillow. I would rate the cushion as being on the firm side, but not too hard. The support level is absolutley perfect. No neck pain. The casing is extremely comfortable and cool. It is easy to remove and clean, which I have done thus far. I am someone who had severe insomnia from tinnitus at one time in my life. I am now getting around 7 hours of sleep per night and my Blissbury pillow is a significant part of the things I have done to fix this problem. If you are a tinnitus sufferer I strongly recommend this pillow. Whether you are using ear level or room level sound, I highly recommend it. I am a customer for life!

Finally have relief from Ear Pain! ...I love this pillow. I have suffered from severe Ear Pain for years and now have pain-free ears every morning. I found a solution for a Pillow Case to fit... And keep the open chambers indented. I bought a Queen size case with envelope closure to cover this Standard size Ear Hole Pillow. I only have to slightly poke the case into the hole once or twice a night, Works great. For me the semi firmness and height of this pillow works perfect for me. Even though I am a small person I love the extra height to keep my neck and shoulder in thier correct position while sleeping on my side. Since I am a side sleeper the only complaint I have is that this pillow does not have an Ear Hole in the Center. When I turn over toward the edge of the bed that Ear hole is too close to the edge. I end up shifting over to the some hole toward the middle of the bed. Not a big deal for me but the bed now gets more wear all in the same place every night. The semi-firmness is perfect for me, finally a pillow that truely support me and does not collapes in around my head. Everyone has their certain ways so this pillow might not be for everyone... for me it is finally a Heaven sent Pillow!

I am returning this pillow for another brand (sorry!) This could be a great pillow but I feel it needs some design tweaks. Hopefully this review helps others with similar concerns: 1 - the memory foam is too firm for me. You think your head is heavy until you're laying it on memory foam. The foam wins out on firmness. I haven't met a memory foam pillow yet where my head actually sinks in and conforms to the shape of my head 2 - The ear holes are sharp rectangular shape and our ears are oblong but not rectangular. The hole is spacious but I don't feel it is the right shape for our ears, it doesn't feel natural 3 - The stitching for the ear holes lie right on the spots where your face will rest, specifically in corners where your temple will apply pressure. This is not comfortable if you are suffering from an ear infection (which is actually what prompted me in my search for an ear hole pillow). If you have no sinus, ear or tooth issues, this might be a perfect pillow but the weight of your face absorbs the pressure that's being alleviated off the ear. So it actually created additional pain for me while giving me ear "pressure" relief. 4 - The placement of the ear holes. They are too far left and right on the pillow so there's only a teeny bit of space facing out when you're head it on it, so it almost feels like you're leaning off the pillow a little bit. This is a probably just a personal preference issue but it was one other thing that made the pillow uncomfortable for me I appreciate the concept of this pillow and it has great reviews which means lots of people are happy with it but it's just not the pillow for me. I have to get one with removeable stuffing as opposed to memory foam to be able to make it a more sink-in pillow.

These work very well for anyone with ear issues, such as ear rings or pain due to wearing a CPAP mask (that's me.) Owning two of these, they are of the highest quality with good firmness that you'd expect of a quality memory foam. The size is adequate for a queen bed but small for a king bed. I definately believe they have helped improve my quality of sleep and reduced my pain issues.

So I loved the idea of this pillow! 2 months ago I got a snug piercing in my ear and for a month I didn’t sleep on my left side. But then I started sleeping on my left and tried things like the little inflatable rings to sleep on, neck rolls and lastly a super soft pillow. The soft pillow worked the best for me but then I saw in an article someone talked about a pillow with cut outs for your ears so here I came to Amazon! This pillow had loads of good reviews, but really was a bit expensive. I thought I’d give it a try because it it worked for me, then I’d get more comfortable sleep. Pros: Here’s what I did like. The ear holes and the adjustable height option of the pillow. The cover is also a soft material. Cons: Here’s what didn’t work for me. The ear holes are lower on one end than the other, but even on the shortest end, my ear was much lower than the hole so I would eventually end up with the end of the hole pushing on my snug and that pain would wake me up. I did wake up even to adjust the height because it was too tall, bending my neck uncomfortably, but the adjustment was minimal and so it still left my neck creaked. The worst part, and this hasn’t happened to me yet with anything, is my ear at my snug piercing was completely swollen this morning. I believe this was from the constant trouble of keeping my ear in the hole because there was too much pillow from my neck to the ear hole. So a swing and a miss for me.

After getting new lobe piercings, I bought this to sleep comfortably on my side. I was worried the ear cavities would be too small or the pillow too flimsy, but it’s actually very supportive. The holes are easy to find while shifting in my sleep, and it works for all positions. Note: If you have broad shoulders, it might be a bit low for side sleeping.
