⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love This Little Printer! I hesitated to buy the Kodak Mini 3 Retro Printer (P300R) after reading some of the negative reviews. But I also took the time to go through all the positive ones — and honestly, they made more sense. I really wanted to print photos for my mom’s birthday, so I decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad I did! As soon as it arrived, I removed the sample cartridge that came preinstalled, popped in a new one, downloaded the Kodak app, and started printing right away. And let me tell you — I LOVE, LOVE this mini printer! ✅ The app was super easy to install and connect to my Android phone. ✅ Replacing the print cartridge couldn’t be simpler. ✅ It’s not the fastest printer, but that’s because it goes through all three color layers plus a lamination step — which is actually really fun to watch! Overall, I’m thrilled with this little printer and can’t wait to use it for my mom’s 80th birthday party! I printed nine photos so far with zero glitches or issues. Totally worth it!

Besides the occasional to rare cartridge sub-dye "ink" jam, which can be very annoying and you have to remove the cartridge carefully - this print along with its "2x3" ratio variant have the best print quality I have seen so far in this size class + plus longevity of the print. The Zinks image quality varies a lot, and its longevity isn't that great. It's' fun that it's sticker backed and that you waste less to the environment (i.e. no cartridges to recycle like the Kodak), but the image quality is definitively a step down from the Kodak. The Fuji Instax Link printer can be nice but it's a bit blurry in print and a bit contrast-limited. I would still pick that over Zink. Finally the cost per use of the Kodak seems unrivaled. Particularly for its print quality.

This printer is amazing and the photos come out beautiful and clear. I like this little printer and it is small and easy to use.

Love it. The only thing is you need to adjust the saturation of the colors because it always comes out less brilliant color wise than the original photo. It’s so portable abd fun to use.

I love square printers. It's fantastic. And let me say that Kodak's customer support already sent me two replacements. That being said, both of those replacements have the exact same issues as my original printer. When you first get it, it will print great with the cartridge it comes with. However, the replacement cartridges are all defective. You might get one or two images, but then it either jams, or messes up in the print. Or overheats, which is another problem all in itself. And the thing is, once the cartridge messes up, that whole cartridge is garbage. It's not individual sheets. So I'm probably out more in cartridges than I paid for the actual camera. No lie I've gone through 6-10 cartridges with just being jammed, not printing right, etc. When it works I LOVE IT. But the problem is, there is something defective between the camera and the cartridges. Kodak needs to pull this one, upgrade it, and then re-release. But right now, there is a serious issue with it. You can check the reviews on the refill cartridges to verify that this is a wide spread issue. As much as I love it when it works, it's not worth it because it doesn't work more than works.

Update 3-30-21 Finally got the replacement unit (about a week ago, wanted to print a bit before updating). On the plus side they sent along more printer cartridges than we'd wasted. Upgrading to three stars, the unit is great while working but I have grave concerns about its longevity. --- We were initially very impressed with this little printer until we got past the 60 prints included. We purchased an additional 120 sheets from Kodak and after the first 6 cartridges it stopped printing all 10 sheets. Sometimes we'd get 8 out of ten, others we'd get 3 out of ten. I contacted Kodak and they agreed that our unit was defective and provided a shipping label. Once they had it back they claimed to have shipped our replacement but the tracking number they provided has read "Shipment ready for UPS" since March 3rd (today is the 19th). Emails asking for an update gets the exact same reply, telling me that their Customer Support Team is either a technology (not actual people) or they just cut and paste responses. Either way, I have yet to find a way to talk to a person or get an update on the replacement unit. They've got my money, I've got nothing and no support. Will this 1 star review get noticed? I hope so but doubt it.

Super easy to use ! I was debating between an actual Polaroid camera or a printer. But I always use my phone to take pictures. And my bf and I go on vacation a lot, so I like to capture quick memories and photos sometimes. I don’t have the time to wait there and make sure I have the right angle and wait for the actual Polaroid picture to come out of the camera . So I went with the printer so it can be easier for me when I’m home and be creative and choose and pick which pictures I actually want to print . I love it ! It takes a little bit over a minute to print out the picture. Quality wise is pretty good. I wouldn’t say they all come out super crystal clear. But they come out pretty good for my liking.

Avevo già acwuistato la versione Retro 2 - quella a stamapa rettangolare, per capirci - e ne ero rimasto veramente soddisfatto! Ho voluto prendere anche questa versione - Retro 3 - perchè la stampa quadrata mi soddisfava di più rispetto a quella rettangolare. Fermo restando di avere entrambe le versioni. La Kodak è un brand che non necessita di grandi presentazioni, universalmente riconosciuto come un leader per la carta fotografica e gli inchiostri istantanei, lo è stata nel tempo che fu leader assoluto della pellicola. I suoi colori, quelli delle Kodakcrome, sono ad oggi irraggiungibili anche se imitati. E di questa qualità cromatica, la versione Retro, ne è semplice testimone...anche se nella versione "istantanea" La stampante è semplice da utilizzare, molto immediata, tanto che l'unica informazione di cui avremme realmente bisogno è di come si cambia il cartrige carta/inchiostri. Per tutto i resto: la comoda app dalla smartphone si preoccuperà di fare il lavoro. Le foto sono editabili da app e sempre da app si procede alla stampa finale. Questa avviene in 3 passaggi (ciano, magenta, giallo) + laminatura e nero finale. Nella confezione in recensione sono comprese 6 cartucce da 10 fogli ciascuno, più una già inserita da 8 fogli per un totale di 68 stamoe disponibili. I colori appaiono brillanti e la stampa dura nel tempo: non c'è il rischio che sbiadiscano o ingialliscano. L'accoppiata carta/inchiostro funziona veramente bene. La stampante Mini Retro3 della Kodak fa una cosa solamente: stampa le immagini dal proprio smartphone. E questa cosa sa farla vermanete bene!! Al costo di circa 124€ (al momento di questa recensione) lo considero un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo e non posso che consigliare questa stampante per tutte quelle situazioni dove si vuole avere nell'immediato una versione cartacea delle proprie fotografie, da condividere con gli amici, la famiglia, il/la partner. Facile da trasportare, trova comodamente spazio nella borsa essendo un prodotto estraente portatile e funziona con batteria (ricaricabile), quindi senza alcun cavo. Prodotto consigliato senza alcuna riserva.

Had a rough start with the first cartridge but I think it was just user error. Girlfriend really loves this thing. Decent enough pictures a tiny bit grainy but is good enough. App is very user friendly.

I’ve had this printer all of two days and have encountered 3 issues with printing so far. Poor product considering this is meant to be an easy use portable printer. My main complaint is with the customer service though. Which can over come product issues if done well. MAIN ISSUES: - chat option is a bot with poor sequencing and just throws help guides at you. The chat term here is a misnomer. - whilst filling out the customer support option to engage in email the system refreshed. No message to explain why. - upon calling there was no answer…not even to inform of call times or other options
