Mopar 68507598AA FILTER ENGINE OIL

Bought them few times , have the mopar logo and box . Rubber O ring there , pretty satisfied ,way better deal then getting it at the dealership.

Fit my 2022 Ram Ecodiesel as advertised. Would buy it again.

***UPDATE*** The first two of these filters received were just like the pictures included...I believe a genuine Mopar Oil Filter. The last two of these filters ordered were received in a plain white box with NO MARKINGS ON THE FILTER ITSELF just as others have stated. This seems very much like a bait and switch to me. I returned the last two received as they clearly did not have the Mopar "M" stamped on them, or any other information for that matter. As far as I can tell, this is exactly what the OEM is offering. Only difference is $20 vs $94 (looked on the Mopar site today). Fits the 2022 RAM EcoDiesel perfectly and performs great. Completed first oil change at 2500 miles to remove the break in material using the same filter. This filter as pictured used at 7500 miles (always change at 5000 miles). Great product at a great price.

Received genuine OEM product. Marked correctly, in the proper box with the correct loose wrapping. Not a swap meet knock of in shrink wrap and a fake box.

Genuine MOPAR at half the price of the dealer. LOOK People, If you do NOT oil the heck out of the BIG O-Ring on the housing, it WILL bind up when you attempt to tighten in down, your torque wrench will "click" and it will NOT be fully seated in the oil filter housing on the engine. OIL it!! Use a tooth pick to lift the BIG O-ring up and let the OIL get under it and then tighten it down and it WILL fully seat and will NOT leak. NOTE, if the filter you get does NOT have the MOPAR markings, it is NOT Genuine!! NOTE, even the OE filter is made in China. Do NOT accept non-OE.

The real deal. Reviews seem to indicate some received counterfeit products and I ordered with some reluctance. Jeep diesels are picky and only function well with factory original parts. Cheap knockoffs will give you oil pressure problems. I will order another of these. Update: Bought again on 8-22-25 and again it’s the real deal. Will keep buying as long as it’s not in the plain white wrapper!

I ordered one of these last summer, and it installed perfectly fine. I re-ordered the same filter, and this one did not fit. It came in the same box as the first one, the box had the same part number as the first one, but the second one would not thread in more than 2 revolutions. I compared them visually after I took the old one out, but before putting the new one in, and they looked identical. After some more unsuccessful attempts, the old one was put back on smoothly, and this one was returned. Upon closer inspection, the threads were ever so slightly different. The pitch seemed the same but the shape of the threads looked off. Perhaps the wrong filter was in the correct box. Either way, I won’t be ordering these again.
