Tear Away Machine Embroidery Stabilizer Backing 100 Precut Sheets 8"x8" Medium Weight 1.8 Ounce Fits 4x4 Hoops

I am new to machine embroidery and figured I would try this out. I had also gotten the Simthread 42 thread pack and they had some tear away stabilizer in there for free. But that isn't as good quality as this and a little bit clumpy in parts. This is nice and smooth. Stays exactly where you need it too and tears beautifully when you are done with your project. My only request is that they make an 8"x9" because this just doesn't fit my hoop long ways the greatest. I was able to get it too. But that was a bit of a pain to get it directly centered and tight enough.

This stabilizer works well with non-stretch material. It does not work well with stretch material. It is easy to tear away after use. It does not have good adhesion. Again, that is fine if you are using non-stretch fabric. It is an inexpensive option.

Worked like a dream. Previously I've only used the iron on variety but I ran out and wanted to try something new. I like the big sheets because you are always sure that the embroidery area is covered. It also rips away so easily when you are finished leaving a small footprint. My only complaint is that I feel like I waste a lot of it because so much of it is thrown away after the ripping process. But it is definitely much easier and cleaner to use than the iron-on variety. PROS: -easy to use -quick and easy clean up -inexpensive CONS: -a lot of wasted material BOTTOM LINE: I would buy this again. It is quick and easy to use which alleviates a lot of frustration that usually goes along with using iron-on stabilizer.

This is a great tear away stabilizer. It is thick enough that it doesn't tear while stitching yet easy enough to tear away quickly. I've used it for a few years with no incident whether I am embroidering in the hoop or stitching out decorative stitches. In the example I was practicing stitching out my decorative stitches using an old woven cotton sheet The tear away stabilizer worked perfectly. Since the sheets are smaller than the fabric I was stitching on, I had to cut it and pin the overlap so I could stitch out an 8" circle and I was able to stitch over the places where the stabilizer overlapped with no incident. From the front single layer or overlapped looks the same. I don't need to overlap this stabilizer when I am using it in the hoop, one layer works perfectly.

I needed a Stabilizer for under my sewing projects on my new machine. I chose this item because of the convince that it fits the hoop I use most often. It is easy to use and it tears away easy. Fast service and economical and will probably buy it again. I have reordered this product and I want to say it is heavy duty and is great for fine delicate material. I love it. I will be doing more business with them in the future. This is the best tear away product for a bottom stabilizer. It also has FAST!!!! delivery.....and packing. Thanks We will see you again....
