I purchased this as we regularly use multiple Micro SD cards when filming so are always switching cards out. First of all the unit is very sturdy and closes securely. I have had this in my pocket, bag and OSMO/Drone cases and it has never come open in transit. The outer metal casing protects the contents and feels very rigid, with the inside also being strong in construction. The fit of the Micro SD and standard SD cards is great. They slide in securely and stay put with no issues. Due to being slimline and lightweight this is ideal for placing in pockets and suchlike when on the move. The size is a slightly larger than a bank/credit card. Overview: Really functional. Good strong construction, secure for valuable data storage.

What a great piece of kit! Super lightweight, built really well, stores my spare cards that I need incase of emergency. Overall great value for money to keep my cards safe and love the design!

Works really well for its job. The metal is durable and doesn't easily bend. The plastic interior can hold every card, however some cards are loose, so care is needed when opening.

To be honest I've never had any issues with any Smallrig product I've purchased, this one included. The case is light weight but solidly built, and perfectly protects my storage cards. The metal feels good to the touch and it's so sleek and thin it just slides right into my tech bags and cases, perfect for travelling with. The slide function works great, and was exactly what I needed, for a relatively inexpensive cost.

Solid and slim but very squeaky when inserting the tray. Difficult to use quietly if you’re at an event.

Endlich habe ich meine SD- und microSD-Karten ordentlich sortiert und sicher verstaut. Die Karten sitzen fest in den Fächern, fallen nicht heraus und sind trotzdem leicht entnehmbar. Dank des robusten Alu-Gehäuses brauche ich mir keine Sorgen mehr machen, wenn das Etui mal in der Tasche herumfliegt oder auf Reisen dabei ist. Klein, praktisch, zuverlässig – für Fotografen oder alle, die viele Speicherkarten nutzen, absolut empfehlenswert!
