iFLY Carbon Racing Hard Sided Large Checked Luggage, Silver

What a fantastic suitcase this turned out to be! It made the long journey to Africa with no problems and hardly a mark. It is quite large on the inside and held far more than I had anticipated. The wheels roll smoothly on all the surfaces I encountered. As I grow my luggage collection, I will definitely by an iFly hard sided case again.

Love the look, feel, and security the hard shell offers. Love the lightweight that doesn't take away from the airline weight restrictions. Love the size - perfect for a long trip.

It's OK, but noticeably lower quality than the AmazonBasics suitcase that costs only $10 more. I have both of these suitcases, and both of them recently fell down a couple of steps on to the street (completely my fault; they were sitting on a slope and I let go). But whereas this suitcase is now functionally damaged (two of the little "feet" on the side snapped off leaving sharp screws pointing outwards, and the extendable handle was warped and now no longer pulls in/out), the Amazon case survived, literally, without a scratch. In general, this case also just feels significantly less sturdy than the Amazon case, and the pattern printed onto it looks very cheap in person. Spend the extra $10--well worth it.

I was soooo excited to have this set of suit cases. We've used the medium one once and this is my first trip with the large one. I choose the large case because I knew I would be shopping and wanted the extra space. I got to my destination with no issue, however, when I went to move the case from one side of my room to another the handle would not go down. I removed the clothing and see that the silver inserts are not working properly. When you push down on the handle, only one of the silver knobs go in so that the handle can go up and down. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do now. I have to get back home and with the handle not working have no idea how I'm going to maneuver the suitcase. I thought I would have this case for years.

Arrived on time. Perfect size for those longer trips or when retail therapy finds its way to you along the road. Light weight and seems durable after two trips. Stay tuned.

I purchased carryon iFLY small suitcase the Calego Luggage. I loved it! So, I bought the larger one, but the first trip to Ireland the Airline stewardess lifted it up and put it on the belt. The rubber bumpers on the bottom oposite the handle side broke off. The screw's end is sticking out and scratched my leg very badly. NOW, I hesitate after the reviews to try to get a new bumper, or ask for help !!! Only problem was the black rubber cover over the screw end came off and it scratches the heck out of my leg and car, it broke on my first flight and was the airline workers fault who slammed it on the belt.
