Check screw holes well.
These are well made, light weight, and the perfect PPSI. The only problem that I have had is one of the screws keeps trying to back out occasionally.

Use for angora rabbit fiber
I am using these for angora rabbit fiber and they have been lovely. I don’t like that you have to screw the handle to the board and there is no pre-drilled hole, nor instructions on how to line them up, but after fiddling with that aspect they are a nice set. You can stain them and seal them if you want or just leave them raw wood.

Includes materials for DIY carders, not actual carders
If I wanted a few pieces of wood, carding cloth, and instructions that say "use wood glue, screws, and sandpaper to assemble", I sure wouldn't be paying $100 for it. I don't mind screwing a handle on to a paddle, but these were about as much work as making my own from scratch (even ikea pre-drills the holes for the screws, is that so much to ask?)

Made well
Like these guys so far. I'm new at combing fiber, so I've been tough on them. I glued them as well as screwed them together. They are holding up well and also nice size.

good seller, fast shipping, definitely a learning curve to using these but fun once you learn
I like the product, it does exactly what I bought it for which was to card my cotton into a product I could spin on my spinning wheel.

Beginner Friendly
Very beginner Friendly, I was able to card my angora rabbit wool no problem. I do recommend you take breaks though so your wrists can have a break.
