There are many other benefits to fish oil, including being useful in the treatment of a number of forms of depression, and many physicians recommend it for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. But the problem for many is that they find the capsules to be intolerable for one reason: fish oil burps. A couple of years ago my optometrist advised that I take fish oil capsules on a daily basis to help ward off macular degeneration. Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the most common cause of blindness among older adults in the US, and is said to affect over 7 million individuals older than 40 years. The frequency of AMD is likely to increase as the population ages. There is currently no known way to prevent the condition, but research has begun to identify potentially modifiable risk factors and nutrient-based treatments. There are "good" and "bad" fats, and Omega-3 fatty acids are considered one of the "good" fats important for cellular, heart and metabolic health, along with being good for the eyes. DHA is one of those fatty acids that help maintain a healthy heart and circulatory system, along with maintaining triglyceride levels already within a normal range. Have been buying these Coromega Omega-3 Supplement, Orange Flavor, Squeeze Packets and the lemon lime variation for years, either here on Amazon or locally, often switching back and forth for variety. These made a huge difference in my eye health as I’ve gotten older. I had vitamin D toxicity for five years so I had to stop taking them. Now I find that they have doubled in price and they are not available. They were recommended by my optometrist and they were wonderful; and as an adult, they taste miraculously good. Too bad our salaries haven’t doubled in price like this item! I’m homo sapiens not BOT, AI, nor paid reviewer.

I started taking Coromega Omega 3 supplements about 4 months ago, on a doctor's recommendation as part of my treatment plan for moderate ADD, mild OCD, and mild depression. After trying the first packet I felt a craving for more, I would suppose much like pregnant women sometimes crave dirt for its nutrients. I consumed 2 packets a day for the past few months until finally feeling satiated and going down to 1 packet a day, and it was then that I realized how much my ADD, OCD, and depression symptoms have improved. I'm not a doctor myself, and I can't give medical advice, however considering the fact that Omega 3 supplements are the only change in my diet and lifestyle I made over the past few months I can't help but think my improvement is related to the Omega 3 supplements (I have been taking Vitamin D supplements already for quite some time). Coromega Omega 3 supplements are definitely the most appetizing and easy way to get your Omega 3's that I've found. I'm the kind of person who likes tasty, chewable vitamins and protein supplements because I find that it is tremendously helpful for keeping myself on track for taking them. Boring, bland or even bitter tasting supplements are no fun indeed. This is where Coromega stands far above its competitors by making a tasty, inoffensive Omega 3 supplement. It's hard NOT to remember to take your daily Omega 3 dose this way. The vitamin D supplement included in this particular product is a nice bonus, especially if you work indoors at an office and you don't find yourself out and about in the sun much. While I generally prefer non-animal sources for my food and supplements in order to minimize my personal impact on animal suffering and the environment in general (Coromega - are you listening? This is an opportunity!), until that miracle product comes along I will be taking Coromega Omega 3 supplements.

I've had joint paint in my lower back and knees since I was 13 from a fall down a flight of stairs. So for many years I'd grown accustomed to having aches and pains. Over time I had issues with my spine being misaligned which caused problems for my left side (hip, knee, ankle). I had always heard that Omega 3 was good for joints etc., but the products I had been on before were hard for me to swallow, the fish belching after taste was horrible and I never noticed much difference. Recently due to an eye dryness issue my doctor suggested getting back on Omega 3 as it would help. So I started looking around AGAIN. Understanding that I needed more DHA and EPA than I was probably getting before I came across this product. I liked the thought of more mgs, higher absorption and a better taste. What did I have to lose? I kid you not I've been on this product for less that two weeks and already I feel a HUGE change and the majority of my joint pain is either gone or barely noticeable. My body was "snap, crackle and popping" like it usually did but it seemed to be putting things in place rather than leaving me in pain afterwards. I thought if I was going to see any results it would take several weeks at least. I constantly read reviews of products but rarely ever write one. This product, for me at least, has been amazing!! After thinking I was just going to have to live with what I had I'm feeling so much better and more like my 50 year old self should. It's like my joints have their own WD40 for lack of a better term. The taste isn't that bad, actually I kind of like it. It's easy to take every morning. It may not help everyone and their health issues, but I know it has made a HUGE difference in mine.

So I hate fish oils for the most part I just can’t take those huge pills. I got these because it was a high amount of Omegas and easy to swallow. The orange covers the taste pretty good, still kinda gross to me; which is why I rated it 4 instead of 5. Still, for not being a pill or a really expensive gummy with only half the omegas it’s the best I found so far with no fish burps. (At least for me and my dad) I think it’s definitely worth the price and if you are like me and need to get the good cholesterol up more this is a great way to do it.

As a person who has suffered from depression for several years, I'd always heard about the correlation between Omega 3 and brain health. Sadly, the many times I've tried to incorporate Salmon into my diet, I've found it elicits an unfortunate gag reflex in me. I just don't like the fishy taste, and probably never will. After reading the positive reviews on Amazon, I decided to give Coromega a try. The results have been amazing. My depression has notably lessened. I have more energy and my brain feels less 'foggy'. This stuff perks me up more than coffee. I still am astounded by the difference it has made for me. I am not a Doctor, and I have no basis for these claims, other than my personal experience. I am not taking this supplement as a stand-alone either; I'm on other medication. But this seems to work in conjunction with what I'm currently taking to produce stronger benefits. I realize this review reads like an infommerical, but I'm just trying to share my honest experience. It's possible that any old Omega 3 supplement would evoke the same results, albeit not without that dreaded fishy aftertaste. I'm not about to lie and tell you this stuff tastes great. It doesn't. The orange flavor is a bit too tart and artificial. But it still tastes okay. And okay is better than wretchedly fishy, in my opinion. I try to follow my Coromega 'shot' with a chaser of orange juice, or something that tastes good. This way, there's no aftertaste or anything unpleasant. The packets are easy to transport. I tossed a bunch in my purse so I'd always have them with me. Sometimes I worry that one of the packets might get punctured open by a stray pen or something else in my crowded handbag, but this hasn't happened yet. I highly recommend this product.

We are not aging like most of the population because of a number of lifestyle choices. We've been taking fish oil for 30 years. No pain, inflammation, nice skin to name a few benefits. We doubled the amount (divided doses) after we turned 50. We are 72 and 68. The benefits of fish oil cannot be overstated as it is useful in at least 50 processes in the body. However, quality counts. Not only is this a reputable company, but the orange pudding form makes it easier for me to handle as sometimes I don't feel I can swallow a big pill. Most products offering a gram come in a big gelcap. My only complaint is that you have to be diligent to squeeze it all out, even using your teeth to scrap the package. Supplements are too expensive to waste. Taste? Well orange but if I'm totally honest, I can pick up a slightly fishy taste. Doesn't bother me. Great product and very convenient while travelling.
