Bought this to cover a piece of board to protect cabinet at the side of multi fuel stove on my boat. It is excellent, inside of the cabinet is nice and cool no radiated heat getting in to the cabinet Found the adhesive backing was excellent no problems fitting it and getting a smooth finish. As some reviewers say it does come folded so is creased, I stuck the top end on the board and had someone keep the sheet held tight while I peeled the backing slowly and smothed it down as we went... To get a good finish I would recommend 2 people to fit it

Thin but can be layered, used it to repair and protect a belly pan for my motorbike from the exhaust heat and it works just fine

Wanted for garden shed, stuck really well to walls haven't tested under heat. I used heavy duty staples just incase

Does the job

Sticks like something to a blanket! Great for protecting the inside of a shed roof where a high wattage light bulb is in close proximity to a timber roof, like in my shed. Easy to peal off the backing once you get the hang of it!

I have purchased this to cover some MDF boards for a 3D printed enclosure. The price seemed fair enough, so I had a go at it. Even though some of the reviews mentioned this comes in a roll, mine came folder in a small box. I'm not too bothered about the folds as I don't expect it to affect the application too much. I did, however, remove one star off for this. Some of the folds are so bad that the material is deformed and won't apply properly, so I'm not going to get a smooth finish. There are also some holes in random places in the sheet which is annoying. This warranted removing another star from the rating. The aluminium sheet is approximately 0.1mm in thickness, and overall it is 0.2mm thick (including the protective backing). So don't expect anything too thick. But it does seem to be strong enough not to shear upon application. I'll have to see how long the adhesive lasts, especially in higher temperatures.

Original heat shields had rusted badly. This was a good substitute simply required cutting to fit and sticking to bodywork above the silencer. Still in place after a year.

Avendo messo l'inserto che scalda molto di più nel caminetto e non avendo possibilità di spostare il divano che era un po' troppo vicino, ci serviva qualcosa per schermare il calore che arrivava dal camino sul divano. Abbiamo fatto una prova con la carta stagnola e seguendone il principio questo adesivo ci sembrava fare al caso nostro. È PERFETTO! Rimane freddo, non diventa neanche tiepido. E durante le stagioni calde volendo possiamo toglierla senza problemi. Se vi serve qualcosa del genere è l'ideale. Super soddisfatti. AGGIORNAMENTO: se dovete attaccarla su tessuti mettete prima un adessivo in plastica trasparente piena (ad esempio per il divano sono perfette le protezioni per non farlo graffiare ai gatti) e poi attaccateci sopra questo foglio. A lungo andare le fibre si "fondono" con il tessuto e diventa quasi impossibile staccarlo. Non so se sia stato il caldo che arrivava dal camino o la colla stessa del foglio. Rimane comunque un buon prodotto.
