It is durable, perfect size and value for money. I am using in my kindergarten to show the notes for the bell band for 4 years old.

Exactly what I wanted and inexpensive!
Real nice quality fiberglass clean smooth and durable. One of this quality is usually $20.00 getting 2 for under $8 bucks is a fantastic deal!

Cheap, but effective!
Cheap conductor baton, but would be great for having kids and non-musicians try directing. Used one of these for a presentation plaque. Difficult to attach, but inexpensive enough for the job.

Buy these.
These are the same as we purchase from music stores, but cheaper. Buy these, music retail stores are too proud of themselves.

Cheap, light, and dependable.
I love these batons! For me, they're the perfect length. Forget the myth that batons should balance just above the handle—I prefer a little extra tip weight, which these have. And they're so light that balance isn't an issue. Some batons arrive with rough fiberglass shaft that requires minimal sanding with fine sandpaper. I prefer their hard rubber handle to more expensive wood handles.

Dual wielded these bad boys while conducting the orchestra for “Spaceballs the Opera” got it done in half the time.

First, I'll say that I would not, under any circumstances, use these in rehearsal or for a concert. They have no counterweight and the bulb is a very light plastic, so they're incredibly 'nose heavy.' You won't get any of the balance and control you need for effective conducting. And if you're a conducting student thinking, "They're cheap. I'll get them for now, and I can always buy something more professional later," think again! You will develop terrible habits and grip, and it'll be harder to get rid of those bad habits later. So, what are they good for? I conduct a military band, and these are perfect for beating time and giving commands on parade, where the baton is basically gripped tightly and acts as little more than an extension of your arm. If you drop it or lose it, you won't be too upset. On that basis, and the very low price, I gave 3 stars. Otherwise, avoid!
