These anchors are great alternative to concrete in a hole. I have hard clay soil so it was quite hard to screw it into the ground (I did it manually) but they're heavy duty, very sturdy and secure. Would recommend buying.

Where have these things been all of my life! This anchor was perfect for installing my Starlink dish. There have been some storms and so far hasn't budged. I don't know if I would use these for a whole fence line. But for a quick install to make a repair or single type use, it is perfect. I will definitely buy again if it will fit the need.

This groundscrew worked well for a DIY I decided to do on a fence gate. I needed something sturdy when it’s up and able to break down when I needed a wider fence opening. I installed it at the beginning of the fall 2024 and have removed it twice and after reinstalling it both times its still holding the gate stable. The value for my money made it worth the purchase.

This thing is so solid and well made. I'm a 70-something woman and I was able to install it. If the ground is hard, use a bucket of water to soften the soil and this gadget will go right in. I had been planning to dig a hole and pour cement to secure a flagpole that I was using for a solar powered light in my driveway. I bought this thing on a lark with the idea that I could always go back to my original plan. I am so happy that I decided to buy this. Very easy and very secure. Not only that: if my wife decides that she doesn't like the placement, very easy to move, which would not have been true for the whole dig and cement scenario. So, for flagpole or lightpole, great product.

not really a screw-in system. soil just gets loose around it when you turn, it doesn't dig in unless it's really soft. I pounded them in with a wood scrap on top so they wouldn't deform. having said that they're pretty robust and did the job.
