Funny story. My German shepherd has a NEED to dig up BIG rocks and plays with them all day long. I bought these for him to chew on - play with- but don't let your kids throw them at the dog for catch. They are croquet balls. Heavy and hard. Good dog toy

The balls were a little smaller than I wanted

The last time I played croquet I had to tape the balls together because they broke and split. these are solid so they will not split . The weight and size is comparable with the balls that came originally. I am certain that these will bring enjoyment and fun for years to come with the family and friends as we enjoy the cool days ahead. The colors are a little bit off from the picture and game we have , but not anything that will cause a huge issue.

Pleasantly surprised that these are solid wood. A few of our old balls had mostly lost their color. These are bright and can take a mallet.

Do not waste your money on these croquet balls. Positives- the balls arrived quickly, and we like the colors even though they are muted colors. Negatives- the balls are horrible. The balls arrived yesterday and they are already destroyed. We have played 3 games and the inside of the balls are completely crumbled. The balls sound like maracas when they are hit. They also had dents after the first hit.

I was going to use these balls in an art project so am disappointed that the colors are off re the online photo. The worst are the orange and red , they have a lot of brown in them. . Anyway the balls would probably work fine for croquet, just make sure you realize these balls are not as big as regular croquet balls.
