Jolly Phonics Little Word Books

Great addition to the home library, used regularly to help support my EYFS child with their learning

Bought these books to accompany the main Jolly Phonics book. My 3 year old is very keen on learning to read and by just reading the Jolly Phonics main book and flashcards with her (when she asks) she has already picked up 15 letter sounds and often points them out in her daily life. Unfortunately she hasn't shown much interest on these smaller books. I think it is the fact there isn't a story to follow. Maybe she will be more interested in these further down the line.

Urgh I hate these books. They’re educational and they work because I used them and so did my eldest but my god I don’t have the patience nowadays for “a n t ‘bug’”
