TetraPond Algae Control Treatment For Use With Fish & Plants, 33.8-Ounce

This cleaning product works. Took some time, it’s not an overnight cure but more like a month. Does a great job of helping me manage the String Algae. It did not harm my fish.

It works great, 2 treatments water was clear and did NOT kill the fish. Followed the directions and diluted first before adding.

This does not work as well as I was hoping. Did three treatments.and there is not any difference. I have ordered another type of solution as the pond is ghastly.

Always does the job perfectly

In the past I have used a lot of different algae killers. My koi would always go to the bottom. Looking miserable. With Tetra Pond algae killer, koi did not respond. After seeing this, I did not have high hopes of this product working. 3 days later all string algae was dead or dying.

Maybe in a pond this works however in a waterfall it does not.

I have about a 750 gallon pond. I fill a 5 gallon bucket with pond water, then measure out the correct dose and add it to the bucket. I also run the hose in the pond for extra movement of water. Then I take the 5 gallon bucket with TetraPond Algae Control mixed in and pour it into several different places around my pond. Fish are fine and plants are fine. I do this at dusk when temperatures are lower than daytime.

We have had our garden pond for ten years, and each year have waged a battle on the green slime and string algae that made the pond less than attractive. Over that time, we tried a variety of products with limited, and often short lived, improvements. That was until we found Tetra Algae Control. It does the job as advertised, and now our pond stays virtually crystal clear. We can see the rocks and pebbles clearly at the bottom of our 2 ft deep pool, and our goldfish never looked better... now that we can actually see them on a regular basis. Obviously we recommend this product.
