sE Electronics - Dual Metal and Fabric Pop Filter

Firstly you can switch around the shields depending on what you want there is a difference, I picked this pop filter to use it with my TLM 107 microphone it is sturdy but not that durable of which it’s not a problem cause you won’t move it around, great pop filter by sE

I position this so that the mesh faces the mic and the soft filter faces me. This does a really good job getting rid of pops. If you just check in Audacity, you'll see a huge difference in the waveform with and without this thing.

Definitely did the job, I will continue buying SE products for my studio! Better than my other Pop Screens I've used previously.

The item arrived damaged.

The flexible arm that is supposed to adjust the position of the filter is not strong enough to hold it in place. It sags or droops what ever you want to call it. I had high hopes for this thing but it looks like those hopes are not to be realized. I gave it two stars because at least the design is nice, just needs a little more beef in the flex tube.

The dual screen is brilliant. However, the arm is too short to mount on your mic stand (and too long to position on the sE reflexion filter), so you have to end up using two mic stands to get this screen in proper position. When you do, though, it works and is brilliant.

It's clean looking and looks better than some of the slightly cheaper ones, I like that it has both metal and fabric. very easy to swap the pop filter type without knocking the whole thing out of position.
