Book is divided into several sections. Applique, piecing, etc. There are lots of styles such as modern, traditional, kids, etc. Large color photos. East to read. Applique patterns on cd or download. The back of the book has a great illustrated section on layouts to put blocks together. Only makes 12 inch blocks. Could have been better with an index. Could have recommended block groupings. One great block book.

This is a fabulous book - the best of the best! I read reviews regarding the problems coordinating the pattern with the CD...they must have proofed and reprinted because mine is exact. The book says the pattern is on page 113 of the CD...I find it on 113. How perfect that you can print a pattern for foundation piecing and go right to work. I sew right on the copy paper just use smaller stitches. Beautiful, full colored photographs - a great value all the way around.

Looked at every pattern. Amazing. I will use this over and over again!

I just received this book today. I'm so excited to get started - I have enough ideas to keep me busy for the rest of life now! Yes, it comes with a CD, but you do not need a CD drive. Page 5 has a link to download all the templates, techniques and quilt designs.

This book is filled with great block ideas and I cannot wait to try them. However, all of the patterns and instructions are on a CD and NONE of the 4 PC's I own have a CD drive. Some of the instructions are pretty clear so I should be able to make some of them from the book directions, But I won't be able to do A LOT of them. Having the ability to access a PDF for those that do not have CD drives would be a huge plus for anyone else looking to buy this book.

I was a bit reluctant to buy this book because many of the reviews said that it is useless if you don't have a way to view a CD. I got it anyway and I am very glad that I did. On page 5 of the book there is a web link that takes you to all of the files included on the CD. So far I have completed 3 of the blocks for a sampler quilt I am making and they all turned out beautifuly.

I bought this for my aunt, who's an avid and well-experienced quilter, and she LOVED it. She said it was full of fun quilt designs that she wasn't familiar with so that was important. I didn't want to give her something that was filled with the same old stuff she's been quilting for years. She talked about it for a month so I'm pleased with my purchase. :)

This was a gift for my mother who is a long time quilter and there were even a few things in this book that were new to her. It’s easy to read and follow the directions.

Es un excelente libro, si es necesario tener algunas bases pero en general es facil de seguir. Excelente compra

So many blocks to choose from! The instructions reference the CD included with the book, but I think an experienced quilter could figure out how to piece many of the blocks on their own. The foundation piecing templates are all on the CD which I have yet to look at. Hopefully it works with my computer/printer!

The book was very helpful step by step instructions. Would definitely recommend to any one trying to learn how to do quilting very easy to understand for beginners.
