Nuvo Iron Pyramid Post Cap, 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"

This is a nice post cap. It comes with two Phillips wood screws. It was easy to install. The build quality of the post cap itself is nice. It is aluminum with black powder-coating. There was a small chip of paint on the side, but otherwise, the coating was good.

Note: be sure you are buying the right product. Standard 6x6 posts from the home stores can be 5.5”x5.5”. This company sells a 6x6 and a 5.5x5.5. Be sure you’re buying the right one. Otherwise, it’s a nice product. Solid construction. Fits like a glove.

I ordered the post caps. I needed them for 6 x 6 posts and big box stores did not have them. These arrived quickly and seem to be very durable. Time will tell. Easy to install and they look great on my natural wooden posts. I bought them for looks (they match the black balusters) and to keep rain and sun from drying out the wooden posts. Yes, you can see NUVO but it doesn't bother me. I just see the black caps. Would recommend.

Used on top of 6x6" (nominal) post, to protect post from rot from weather exposure. Finish is good. Looks good as is (black) but we painted it the same color as the post (green). Held on to the paint well.

This is a nice product and looking good. It seems to be durable because it is still new, only time can tells if they are. The caps are not exactly fit my deck posts but close enough. I am happy with my purchased and I highly recommend it.

Nice thick powder coated metal. I bought these (8) thinking I would have to re cut my posts since the deck installers cut beveled edges to the top of my posts. I was pleasantly suppressed to find out that these fit on my posts with the beveled edges. I just had to angle the screws down slightly to get a good bite to the post. The caps are secure and tight. You would never know that the posts were beveled. Time will tell how these bold up, but I expect they will last awhile.

Love the style of these post caps. Nice weight. Weather well. Paint holds up.

I was pleasantly surprised at the weight and quality of these caps. Perfect fit! Probably the best post caps I’ve ever used.They do have the manufacturer’s name embossed on the lower edge of the cap as some other reviewers have pointed out. But I think that actually looks good. And you can’t see it anyway from a few feet away.Get these!
