Great bobbin for larger flies
This is a good bobbin and an update from what I had previously. The tension wheel really lets you control the thread. I wish I'd bought the standard version though instead of the mag. I thought it would be better to have a longer tube, but find that sometimes I don't have the level of precision on smaller flies. That's probably the disadvantage of buying fly tying equipment from Amazon, versus a fly shop. The fly shop would be able to help steer you toward the right product. But all in all I'm happy with it. I would also recommend buying a long threader for it (I bought a Loon one) because it's hard to get thread through the tube with the shorter one than I had.
