Best controller ever
Price might scare you, but I assure you this is definitely worth it. Comfortable, easy to use and works on most PC games, playing Elden ring and dark souls On this and personally speaking I think it works great. If you got the money get it if you want and if you don’t you can buy a normal Xbox controller but I assure you this is worth it.

Terrible controller!
I have used the elite series 1 for approximately 6 or 7 years which unfortunately broke beyond repair this time. So I recently purchased the Elite Series 2 expecting an improved controller compared to series 1. To say I am dissapointed would be a gross understatement. Firstly, it is small, almost too small to hold effectively, again compared to the series 1. It makes it uncomfortable to use and I have to contort my hands to hold the unit. This in turn causes issues with the now tiny paddles on the series 2 compared to the series 1. Why on earth they decided on these tiny pieces of metal that I can just about reach with the way I need to hold this controller is beyond me. They developed a great unit with the original elite and have now shrunk everything to cater for young children only, or munchkins, take your pick. I have tried the series 1 paddles in the elite 2 but they don't work correctly, the sensitivity is off and they don't fit correctly, I end up pressing a paddle 2 or 3 times to get it to work. So back to the tiny series 2 paddles that I can't reach correctly. Another major issue is terrible drift! If I am conducting a running attack, using the 'B' paddle and R1 bumper then my character just continues running, R1 has no effect, until I stop and then attack. This is a major drawback to a number of games and has a great negative effect on gameplay. I have exhausted trials on this and it must happen about 70% of my trials. The unit is also a lot more 'slippy' to hold compared to original series. There are more issues, however in a nutshell I would advise anyone against buying this controller based upon the experience I have had. I will be investing in a SCUF controller very soon as this 'elite' 2 is totally ruining my gaming experience.

Not great
Bought it, was expecting one new and not preowned, it arrived and it has marks and scratches on it and there is paddles missing and marks on the thumb sticks and everything but seems to function well otherwise.

Broken Left Joystick
Built really well, great case... But the left joystick as a button doesn't work. R3 is fine, L3 does nothing, doesn't even click, it's as if the while underlying button mechanism is missing. Files for refund/return and got no response from seller, so Amazon issued a refund.

Marking used items as new
Ordered a brand new one, it’s clearly not new, scuffs and marks on it.

It's been a while since I've used an XBOX controller (still have my XBOX 360), but after picking this up, I immediately remembered why I loved using these controllers over PS's Dualshock: the build quality and the heft. To be fair, I'm making comparisons to the DualShock 3 on my PS3, and things have probably changed since then, but there's is still a noticeable difference. First off, the weight of this controller really gives it a substantial feel in the hand, so it doesn't feel like you're holding a flimsy piece of plastic in your hand. Second, the hard, rubberized soft-touch plastic that they use is REALLY nice in the hand, and while I think it'll eventually wear out with heavy use, it still feels way better than any PS controller I've ever held. As for the buttons and joysticks, they also carry on the sense of quality. The joysticks are rubberized and have a knurled design on them which helps with grip and the concave design means your thumbs won't slide off them very easily. The triggers feel like you're pressing INTO them rather than just pressing them like conventional buttons, which feels cool with FPS and arcade games. Even though I don't use the metal triggers on the bottom, they do feel nice and it's convenient if I ever need to use them (which I will eventually when I start playing more PC games) As for battery life, I started using it out of the box and so far it's still not dead, so I trust that this controller won't die quickly. The case that comes with it includes an extra set of controls to switch out the default ones, as well as a magnetic stand that holds the controller in place, which is very fancy dancy! As for connectivity, there's definitely latency or delayed input between pressing a button an it registering on the screen when using Bluetooth, but it's not enough to distract or bother me to the point where it becomes unplayable. If you think it'll bother you, I suggest getting the XBOX Bluetooth adapter, since I've heard online that it does help a bit with latency (or just plug it in directly to your PC/XBOX). Extra niceties: it uses USB-C for charging and connectivity, so if you already use USB-C for your phone (or in my case, my phone and my laptop), you can rest easy knowing that you don't always have to carry the included cable with you (I personally use an existing USB-C to USB-C cable when plugging the controller into my laptop). NOTE: make sure you update the controller via plugging it into your PC if you're going to use this on your Android phone. If you immediately connect it you your phone the first time without updating it, the buttons won't be properly mapped to your game, but instead will navigate around your phone (exit the game, change apps, open the Search bar, etc.).
