Note-bothr aides of the glue work together to stick
It's really beautiful and I'm so pleased it bought my unique broken cup back to life. The only fail was that the instructions for the glue weren't clear. The two sides of the glue need to be despensed and mixed together to solidify the glue. Using just the one side of the glue doesn't work. Took a while to figure out why it wasn't sticking and stayed tacky for ages.

Make your broken pottery a thing of beauty, Japanese style
The kit is great, clear instructions and everything you need in it. It is a bit fiddly and requires patience to get it right but the practice bowls really help. It is not suitable for children as it uses epoxy glue which give off fumes and can stick your skin together!! Warning is in the kit.

Glue does not stick.
Such a shame that the glue does not stick I have tried to piece something together for 24 hours now and it still has ent stuck I have mixed both glues together and it’s still hasn’t worked. I will be wanted a refund. Also the glue said it was ok for three years, this glue was stamped for 2023. I will be requesting a refund

Lovely little project
Broke my ramen bowl as I was hangry.. made it worse! Didn't want to throw away the bowl so got this to fix it. Was easy to use. Instructions were good, had to reread them a few times to make sure I was doing it correctly. Was a lovely little project, had to work fast but was nice that it included small bowls to practice. They look cute as jewelry bowls! Only thing is, I wouldn't eat out of the bowl incase the glue and gold powder came through to the food. Which is a shame. Doesn't say it on the package that you shouldn't eat from a bowl with it in.

Good way to get into Kintsugi but flawed
First off, its a great idea, I will 100% be doing this with other objects The bad part is the methods it tries to use for this: Breaking - Before I was to break it, I was thinking that I've seen bowls and plates break, they shatter everywhere so was intrigued on how the method outlined would stop that. Spoiler it didn't. The first bowl shattered so all the pieces were equal and the bottom disintegrated, glue wasn't helping that and the end product looked boring. Second bowl I hit on the side instead of the bottom and got two massive pieces and the rest disintegrated again. I'm not sure why the kit doesn't provide a broken item but in equal parts from the get go. A larger item rather than 2 bowls would be more enjoyable Gluing: I use epoxy a lot for miniature building however, it's normally not visible at the end so was intrigued on how it would explain on how to get clear neat visible lines. It don't, the first time around, it looked like id just glued it back together. There isn't any instruction to how much glue, how much powder just "a line". I added more glue to the next fix and then glue poured out leaving a fixed bowl crack with some seeped out gold glue. I'm bewildered why it doesn't use epoxy putty instead and a gold metallic paint instead as that is easier to control for beginners, it would leave clear lines and means you don't have glue everywhere. Good intro to realise what it is and how it works but for beginners is just frustrating

Great present option
This is a really great option for a gift. It has everything you need to have a go and try wabi-sabi gold repairs. Unlike other kits it's packaging is very in keeping with the product and makes it look classy. There are two little bowls that you can test your skills on before you try fix something important. The glue is good quality and doesn't dry too quickly.
