This Bread making machine works to perfection. The bread has the right texture, thickness, and taste, which one can program it to be. It comes out as dark as Romanian bread, or caramel colored as English bread, yes you can even set the color to be as white as wash out looking as American bread. It is all under your control. This next point cannot be removed from the review because it sets up everything and tells you this is a well designed bread machine. Allow me this brief moment to present you with what enthralled me at the very beginning, which told me this product was going to work magnificently and be well designed to do so: At first upon seeing the packaging -that was as almost always- dented and bruised. I had great fear that the product would be destroyed, but upon open it I found that the packaging was an engineering masterpiece of great beauty! To badly miss quote and Paraphrase Billy Shakespeare of whom’s work I was exposed to when I was but a child at school: “What a piece of work is this Packaging ? An engineering masterpiece of geometric beauty. How Noble in design, in form and Utility.” I was amazed upon opening the box, for everything was in its place. Everything was protected by Styrofoam, Protective wrapping, and cardboard, cut in such a way that even the end of the plug had its own little slot, so as to not slide around inside of the packaging scratch up the product. All was magnificently perfect, for there was not a scratch nor a dent to be seen. Even the accessories were nestled inside of a plastic bubble placed inside of a pyramid shape cardboard cut out which was laid into the center of the bread bowl with protections underneath and on top of perfectly cut out cardboard so that nothing moved and nothing scratched up nothing. I have never used the word nothing so many times in my life that came out with joy, the packaging is Beautiful. Back to the product, I must echo every single thing that all of the 5 star reviewers have said, and yes I have read them. This is a perfect bread, making machine! But have I mentioned the packaging? I’m thinking about mountain it on top of a pedestal in my living room so that guest, family, and friends can come and marvel at this marvel . . . Buy two of this products open one and enjoy it. leave the other one unopened for a special occasion to be opened to add joy to your life. Maybe on your 75th anniversary.

Great price for this type of programable bread machine. Easy to use. Can be used for sourdough bread. Makes a very dense loaf of bread. Clear instructions included. Looks good, easy to clean, light weight. Does not heat up the kitchen!

I received this for Christmas and I was hesitant because it's never as easy as it sounds, right? I cannot say this enough...this thing is fantastic! I have made five loaves and they are great every time. Of course, it's critical to read the instructions, ALL of them BEFORE you start. If you follow the instructions and know what you're supposed to do, you will be successful. I LOVE this machine.

Easy-to-use just follow the instructions. However I don't care for the machines prep process, Works better for Me to mix, knead etc. Than add to the Bread Cooker. Turns out much better.

Our last bread maker started leaking out of the bottom of the pan after the blade became permanently stuck - not good. This Elite Gourmet actually does a better job than the Big Name brand we had previously. The loaf is more narrow, but taller which seems to be a good sandwich size. The manual is as basic as it gets - could have some more recipes, but there are many easily found online. Also, it'd be helpful if the one recipe for each type of bread gave the actual BAKE time and timing for adding additional ingredients. A backlight for the control panel would be nice, but not a deal breaker. Nice suction cup feet to keep it in place (not sure if they are necessary or how long they will last). We'd buy it again.

I didn't think a bread maker for this price would be worth while. I have made my second loaf recently and both turned out perfect. Bread is firm, cuts easily, (with a proper knife). Great buttered with a glass of hot chocolate or making a sandwich and or toast. If you like the smell of freshly baked bread, you will enjoy this unit.

Love this bread maker! This is my first bread maker and it makes great bread. The instructions are easy to follow and the machine is so easy to use. I just add the ingredients and turn it on and in a few hours later I have perfect fresh bread.

Es extremadamente fácil de usar, solo hay que poner los ingredientes tal como se indica en cantidades y en el orden, apretar el programa, y la máquina mezcal, amasa, reposa, fermenta, hornea. Los ingredientes son básico y económicos, agua, harina (de trigo refinada o integral), aceite, sal y levadura, es todo, sin conservadores ni aditivos. Claro que la recomiendo!!!

Sabia que tendría pan caliente cada mañana, pero la sorpresa es que es pan Gourmet. La marca bien, funciona muy bien, fácil de limpiar, puedes meter la charola al lava vajillas. Lo amo. Llevo un par de meses con él y excelente.
