At first, I was skeptical about this, but when I put it on my baton, it felt very natural. I was able to draw from my holster very quickly and it has a very nice balance that allows me to get my baton when I need it. I strongly recommend this.

This leverage cap allows for a tremendous amount of additional weapon retention. It allows for a higher speed strike without the fear of the baton flying out of your hand. It is designed in a way that your hand is used as leverage to retain the baton rather than just relying on your grip strength. There is a little added length to the baton versus the original end cap, but I have found this to be an advantage when drawing and reholstering the weapon. Installation is as easy as unscrewing the original end cap and screwing this one on. Hey, buy one and try it out. If you don't like it, give it to one of your fellow officers as a gift because you know that one of them will love it and he/she just might be your back up on your next call!

I’ve used my Baton for decades and never really accessorized. Well I purchased this end cap and like it. The baton hold better on my hand and I feel I have more control over the baton. I will say that the longer cap makes the baton look longer and it’s quit noticeably something to consider when putting the baton in front or back.

My ASP baton is an excellent tool, but with the addition of this leverage cap, it's even better. The cap provides a place for your pinkie finger to rest, and gives a nice solid base for flicking open the baton. It also makes it easier to pull the baton out from a pants pocket, if that's how you carry yours too. It screws on easily, and is durable enough that after nearly 2 years of everyday carry, still looks new.

Easy to assemble! It's very easy and quick to pull your baton out. The last thing you want to think about when you pull it out is whether or not it's going to slip out of your hand.
