Fast, Effective Sharpening—Solid Value for DIY Lawn Care
I’ve used this double-layer corundum blade sharpener for three lawn mower blade touch-ups over the past month. As someone who’s sharpened blades manually and with bench grinders, I found this tool surprisingly efficient. It attaches easily to a standard drill and restores a clean edge in minutes. For routine maintenance, this sharpener is a time-saver and well worth the price. Great for homeowners who want to keep blades sharp without investing in bulky equipment. Four stars.

Works, but Wobbles – Be Gentle with It
This corundum blade sharpener does what it claims – it CAN sharpen lawn mower blades, and it’s easy to use with any standard power drill you likely already have at home. As an added bonus, I was even able to use it to touch up some of my kitchen knives, which was a nice surprise. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The sharpening stones tend to wobble when spinning at high speed. I suspect that’s why so many reviewers mention theirs breaking on first use – the instability puts stress on the stone. Because of that wobble, I couldn’t insert the mower blade between the two grinding surfaces as intended. Instead, I had to hold the blade perpendicular to the stone and sharpen one edge at a time. Not ideal, but it still worked. Fortunately, the set comes with three sharpeners, so if one breaks (which is a real possibility), you’ll have backups ready to go. Overall, it's a functional tool for the price – just be careful during use and manage your expectations. For occasional sharpening jobs, this set does the trick.

Okay i mean yeah they work
They work! They definitely sharpened my blade on my brand new Honda HRN mower, and I'm hoping i can notice a big difference since I also sharpened the upper blade which was pretty dull from the factory. That said, like the other reviews mention, they definitely fall apart after one use. They lasted long enough that I was able to sharpen both blades on both sides and even sharpen parts of the metal that wasn't originally sharp. Considering I get 4, I'm just considering that I bought 4 effective easy sharpenings of my blade. Which isn't a bad deal at all.

Three cheap sharpeners
I get it. They want to sell three, to raise the purchase price. You get three cheap gizmos beveled equally on both sides. If your lawn mower blade is flat on one side and beveled on the other, you'll need to do a LOT of grinding to eventually get it sharp. Alas, the cheaply-made gizmo won't last that long. Mine broke clean in two on the second use. Oh well, I have two more cheap gizmos left. Suggestion: sell three different kinds: equal bevel, beveled on outer edge, beveled on inner edge.

Sharpened my 42" zero turn blades with ease
I was honestly shocked at how easy to use and effective this sharpening pack was. I used it before mowing my lawn tonight. Tilted the 42" zero turn back, using a 4x4 about 3' tall to hold it up at the deck, and sharpened the blades without taking them off. They were as dull as the handle end of a butter knife before and after about 30 seconds on each end of the two blades (4 in total) they were as sharp as a bitcher knife. The dual edge (groove) of this product helped significantly with keeping the grinder on the blade. I used my Ryobi brushless to run the tool and imagine any driver with medium to high power would be effective. I wasn't expecting much based on some of the poor reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a 5 minute job and the blade mulched like it was new again.

Junk poor quality
I honestly had such high hopes with this product though the excitement was quickly shattered as the very first bit I put on my dewalt drill role as soon as I turned the drill on never even touching it to a blade, I changed the bit thinking things happen maybe it was just 1 bad one out of the 3 but I was wrong I put the other one on and soon as I touched it to the mower blade it quickly shattered in half the stone actually broke in half so I put the last and final sharpening bit on my drill and barely touched it to the blade and was able to sharpen one side of one blade before it separated and broke as well. Poor quality and poorly built doesn’t even start to describe this product. I will be returning this product as it was a waste of $10 do not buy this product it will break before you get to use it sorry but just facts

It does a great job!
These sharpening stones work great on my lawnmower blade and pruning shears. Easy simple to use, just need a steady hand a little bit of practice. The instructions are printed on the box, so I don't know why other users are complaining that it doesn't. I sharpened 1 lawn mower blade and 2 shears with one stone and could probably do a couple more before replacing the stone

Good
It works, sharpen my yard tools faster. But must exercise caution when using with a drill the blades being sharpened can be caught in between the sharpening stones that will cause the drill to jerk. Be safe

I bought this hoping to sharpen or at least touch up my mower blade without taking it off the machine. However, while that may be possible after a user has used it a lot, using the tool is not as simple as I imagined from looking at the picture of it. The slot with double stones had me thinking I would just run it down the business side of the blade, but.... Even in a vise, the edge of the blade does not necessarily match the angled slot to abrade both sides of the edge at once. Also, the rotating stone "climbs up" as you move it, touching the edge not how you would have wanted. So... I ended up running the rotor at right-angles to the edge, moving along it on both sides. Even so, it needs some practice to control. It does remove material nicely, but will take practice - and I don't think I could do it on the mower. Still, a good buy and a good addition to the toolkit.
