KJV Large Print Compact Bible

I am in full agreement with the other reviewers that this is a beautifully crafted bible. I love the feel of the full grain leather especially when holding the bible in the palm of my hand and feeling the raised hubs. Having a compact bible with 10 font size print is such a great help. Sans references, it helps the readers focus on the text and read thoughtfully through the Bible. The KJV was the bible I used when I came to Christ. Though I own many Bible translations and can read and comprehend the greek new testament in the TR, Majority Byzantine, and the NA28 editions, reading the KJV really connects me to our Master Jesus Christ. I love the Elizabethan language and have little difficulty understanding its language. As a 65 year old believer ....I will cherish the KJV until Jesus comes back.

I LOVE this compact Bible, and the 10-pt. font is very readable. I see others complain that it isn't large print, but they did not read where it stated that 10 pt. IS large print for such a small Bible! I love that it has maps in the Bible, and I love the fact that besides the concordance, it also has a Read the Bible in one year plan, a lay flat binding, and I especially like that it has a verse finder in the back also, especially since I am going to use this Bible as my Prayer Bible and I am going to be underlining with twisted crayons at least 40 themes in this Bible such as God's will, blessings, God's acceptance, etc

This Bible is really cute and a great size. I love the pink cover, and the red text is a really nice touch. Easy to read and perfect to carry around

I bought this as a great travel Bible. It's definitely true King James version. What I really like about it is that it does lay flat. This is great for traveling whether you're going to see someone or go to another state, it's not too bulky. The print is also good, not too small, the words of the Lord Jesus are in red which is also a plus. I've only had this Bible for a little while now the zipper is pretty good as well. With the zipper and the cover it's like this Bible already comes with its own carrying case which is also nice. With any new Bible new pages will always stick together. But in due time they won't become as static. Comfortable to carry and take anywhere. It also includes some things in the back like a Bible reading plan for one year as well as some other helpful things. It also includes a ribbon marker to mark the spot of the Scripture you are reading. The ribbon marker is a little bit long, not horrible. It also includes a verse finder in the back of the book if there's a particular word you're looking for. All in all for the price pretty good.

I love this Bible! This is my second purchase from this publisher. I love that the font size is not too small and the size makes it easy to take anywhere. I bought this for my son and he loves it! Highly recommended and would buy again!

This bible is too cute when I was younger I always wanted my own personal bible but only got a brown or black one this time I finally bought what I wanted and I’m so happy. Mines is a bit on the smaller side so that it’s easy to take with me in days that I don’t want to take the full case.

COVER & DESIGN The cover of this compact Bible is faux leather that is soft to the touch and flexible. Both the front and the back have an emblazoned cross, as well as an intricate border design, complete with stitch marks on the top, bottom, and opening side. The spine features text that reads "| KJV | | | Holy Bible | | | [Christian Art Publishers logo] |", with space between each set of text, for a nice look. The spatial lines are embedded into the spine, and look astute. It looks like a higher end spine of a Bible you might spend $50 or more on. I love the cover and binding. It lays flat after some use, and is decently durable for what it is. I have dropped or bent this a few times, and have only suffered a few dings on the cover and inside binding. Nothing major. SIZE This is a perfect size. The exact measurements are in the item description, but I can say this; it is great to take with you anywhere. Not small enough to fit in your pocket, per se, but it will fit inside of your car's glove box or side console, in a personal bag or purse, and it fits in your hand with ease. It's lightweight, and not too bulky. Perfect to have for God's Word on the go! PAGES The pages are not exactly gold-gilded: but they are slightly gold. Looks nice regardless. A presentation page featuring a neat border is in front, before the copyright info and the table of contents. This features a single ribbon marker that is the same saddle brown color of the cover. Very basic, and serves its purpose. Has not frayed or worn much in the year or so that I have had it. The pages are thin, to the point that you can see the text on the other side. While it does not deter from reading the text on the page you are on, it does bleed a bit if you are a person who highlights. Contains a topical concordance and a "where to turn" table in the back, as well as several full color maps. There is a single page in front and a single page in back that are entirely blank, for the note-takers out there. TEXT The size of the text is 10 pt, which I find to be perfect to read. It says large print, and that means large print for a compact size. Other compact size Bibles have between 6 and 8 pt font. It's slightly larger print than most regular Bibles, too. The text slightly goes into the gutter, but is still readable. There are lines in-between the columns which give it a classy look. The top of the pages simply give a page number and the book, chapter, and first verse on it. Red Letter for Christ in the NT - including Revelations - but improper captilization of pronouns referring to Him and to God, which is a negative. All of the omitted verses are in this version, which I like. This is not the Pure Cambridge text, which is not a deal-breaker necessarily, but it is a deterrent for some. No cross-references, and the margins are too small for most notes, so if you like to see references to other books, chapters, and verses, you might want to use something such as sticky notes. OVERVIEW This value compact Bible is a steal! The best thing about it is the cover and the text size. I cannot express how much I love the cover! The design is beautiful. It's as close to genuine leather as you can get for this price. This is a solid purchase for anyone in need of a Bible for every day use, or as a gift. While it isn't perfect due to some text inaccuracies, it still drives God's Word home, and does a wonderful job of doing it. God's Word does not fail, and He will get it to His people one way or another. I highly recommend this. God bless you all!

I love this bible! The soft faux leather bound exterior and the simple size that fits right in my purse is perfect. I used to sit in church and leaf through each of the books to find where the pastor was at, but now it is easy to find because this book comes with a directory to help me quickly find the books and passages. I love it.

The Bible looks very nice and got delivered within one day. Very good service, but the format is not larger print it's the same as my standard bible which means I'm back at sqaure one. Would. Love a larger print One should then rather opt for a giant print. Thankyou.
