Valor Fitness Boxing Speed Bag Platform with Wheel Crank for Easy Adjustment, Speed Bag Included

I've been searching for a good speed bag platform for a few years now, I've done some research and went with this speed bag platform and I couldn't be much happier. First I want to say putting it up was pretty easy if you are handy at stuff like this. I do it for a living Handyman work so I found it easy but you will need two people to put this up it does weigh 80lbs and you will need wood boards to mount this on that is mounted to studs in the wall. It is very well made does not rattle or shake and you will not need to put extra weight on top of platform. And you can adust the height of the platform by turning the wheel which turns easy the bars are solid metal not hollow. Speed bag is good but not the greatest but if your a beginner it will do. I strongly recommend this speed bag platform to the serious boxer

Do a parts inventory first thing but be aware that many of the parts are already installed on the unit. Useful to look at the diagrams to determine which parts are installed where per the inventory sheet. Have a good plan on how you intend to mount it to a wall and the height at which you desire to install it. I chose to mount 2x8s to a cinder block wall and then mount the speed bag platform to the boards. No kidding on the "2 man lift" when mounting! Once installed, the platform is rock solid!! I had my own speed bag and installed it on the provided swivel which is not a "quick change" type of swivel (if you have multiple speed bags you want to use, you may want to consider another swivel type). The design of the adjustable height is fantastic but you need to know the average height of speed bag users when installing it assuming all users are within 14" in height of each other (the adjustable height is plus or minus 7" from that average height).

The platform itself is sturdy and solid. I would recommend this platform to anyone looking for a good sturdy adjustable frame, but don't consider the bag that comes with it. Its pure junk and you will need to buy another one. In addition, there are some manufacturing/machining issues that resulted in only being able to use 3 of the 4 adjustment supports (2nd photo), and some of the threading made assembly difficult. The instructions are horrible, so best to have it installed by someone handy in these types of things. Overall its a good frame and we are happy with the purchase. We recommend placing 2 boards across 3 wall studs for mounting.

Bought this as my birthday present to myself for my first house, so I wanted the best one I could get. I’ve used many types of these things over the years, and this one is by far the best. Making a template to mount it on a large sheet of graph paper (not included) makes mounting way easier. It’s super sturdy, and doesn’t rattle at all despite the enthusiastic beating it’s taken. I could not be happier with my purchase!

I was super excited to have a speed bag for my boxing class. I've got people that range in heights and was hoping this simple crank adjustable speed bag could be easily incorporated into a circuit drill. Clearly not. THE ENTIRE CRANK HINGES ON THIS TINY PIECE!... This tied with a plastic handle makes of a speed bag mount that broke within the first two months of use. Instructions weren't the greatest either. An extremely large instruction improvement would be to have an approximate "how high" should the speed bag mount be in order to be used heights of 5ft to 6ft 4in Rather upset at the lack of quality given the number high reviews....

This is the first review that we have ever written. We own a MMA training center and have kids and adults as well as professional athletes training with us. We purchased 4 of these units and from the first moment they were installed, through customer service attempts to rectify issues, these units are awful. There are so many other competitive brands out there, equal in price that are so much better. If you don't want to be frustrated and disappointed then avoid this purchase. At the end of the day, we had no choice but to trash 4 of these units.

Product arrive missing key items. Valor was very responsive and quickly replaced the items. The included bag was not very durable and popped after several hits. The mount itself is very nice and well constructed. The adjustability let’s my entire family enjoy the bag. Buy this for a well made speed bag mount that is adjustable and quiet. Buy a separate leather bag if your an adult with some experience.

This unit is heavy. You'll need a hand installing it. Follow their advice on how to mount it. Mine rattles slightly but I think it's because I need two more bolts to secure it to the wood that I mounted horizontally on the wall. I plan on adding that to see if it fixes the rattle. It's not too bad though. I love the unit! It's really easy to adjust. It allows my son, or someone shorter, to adjust it to their height. It's solid. I did buy a different bag. I never tried the one it came with but it looks pretty cheap. I already had a new bag I bought earlier from amazon so I just used that one. Don't try to mount alone..you'll need help but it's worth it! I've never used another speed bag mount so I can't compare it to anything. I can say I really like this one and I'm glad I bought it. It did come with an end cap that was broken during delivery. I read in the manual it said to call them, NOT where you bought it from, so I did that. Their customer service was awesome. They shipped out the end cap and some extra ones just in case. Fast delivery, no hassle. A+++

wow! very nice speed bag. I had to change the swevel for a better one but the platform is nice, good rebound of the speed bag. the ball is ok but I will change it for a faster one...

Love the platform. The speed bag SUCKS! It does not hold air and it was never used. Piece of garbage. I'm glad I read other reviews before buying this because I knew to buy a better bag than the one that was supplied.
