I’ve been looking for my first tablet stand to save my neck from constant strain, and the Nulaxy Aluminum Stand exceeded all my expectations. Right out of the box, you can feel the quality; it’s made of solid, heavy-duty aluminum rather than the cheap plastic I was afraid of. It stays exactly where I put it and doesn't wobble at all when I'm tapping on the screen. The dual-hinge design is incredibly sturdy. I was worried it might "sink" under the weight of my tablet, but the hinges are tight and hold any angle perfectly. It’s also surprisingly portable—it folds completely flat, so I can easily toss it in my bag when I’m heading to a coffee shop. The rubber grips are a nice touch too, as they keep my device from scratching or sliding around. One of my favorite features is the charging cutout at the bottom. It allows me to keep my tablet plugged in while it’s sitting upright in portrait mode, so I don't have to worry about the battery dying during a long movie or Zoom call. If you’re looking for your first stand and want something that feels premium without breaking the bank, this is definitely the one to get!

I have used this every day for probably a year now and it is a fantastic product with no signs of wear, even being folded and unfolded all the time. Does exactly what it says on the tin. It has enough weight to it that you can be confident it is sturdy, but it is still light enough to pack away and carry easily. There is enough range in the hinges to adjust it to various heights and positions for comfortable use wherever you are. I also think it looks pretty good and I like the minimalist style.

I bought the original one of these back in 2022. I recently misplaced it and bought a replacement. The price has since DOUBLED from when I bought the original. I found the replacement lighter and less stable than the original. I thought I was imagining it, and then found the original. So what is different? Well it is definitely lighter. But the resason for that is clear - the metal is thinner, and there's less in the base. Also the base was wider that it is now - about a 1cm - 1.5cm wider. That impacts stability greatly. It means that while it can hold a phone or A5 tablet stably (say 7" screen), if you're planning on using this as a like for like replacement you'll be disappointed - like I was. It is no longer stable with 10", 11" tablets (even lanscape) and definitely not with 12.1" tablet nor an external display. It is sufficiently stable on a flat stable surface for both of those - but that wasn't my usecase. It's gone from previously stable with all my devices to only stable with some of them. It DOES match the current description of the device, so I'll only knock off one star, but it's no longer the 5 star device it was. Also, with larger devices, it definitely sags now - the hinges aren't as strong as before -- it didn't sag before. A bit sad about this really since you'll see from the review below of original gadget (which I'm glad I found up again) I really liked it - especially the hinge. I might update the photos when I have time. Very impressive product. I've got Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.1" - which is close to A4 in size. I bought this in the hope that it could hold my tablet up -- portrait way round -- to display book notes while working on things, and it works very well for that purpose. (I have a case for the tablet which can hold it up landscape pretty well, but I've wanted portrait mode for a while. Since the Note pro can be used with a stylus, I've tested how it performs with that too and for me that's sufficiently stable - though using the stylus I'd prefer landscape for that - since that's even more stable. It's relatively heavy for its size, but the stiffness of the joints is why it it's able to hold things stable. For anything smaller than as 12" tablet this would likely be rock solid. (I've tried with my phone as well - a moto g9 player - and it's rock solid for that took) As a bonus you can also still plug in the power cable when using this - which is particularly handy because on full brightness the battery of my tablet doesn't last as long as I'd like. Of note: it has little rubber pads on the two prongs at the bottom where the device sits on and also two behind where the devices leans back against - so no worry about damaging the surface on your device. The same rubber padding is also on the bottom of the stand, so if you put it on a smooth surface (polish wood for example) it's not going to slide around. If you're trying to decide on a tablet stand, this is a pretty decent bit of kit and very reasonably priced.

Not bad but not great, nice height and angle for watching and browsing BUT if you’re using the iPad there is a lot of variation, so for typing and scrolling it’s rubbish. But it’s good for somewhere to place the pad safely and watching videos. For the price I honestly wouldn’t recommend or buy again

Absolument parfait, mécanisme supérieur stable et fait pour durer longtemps (testé >20000 ajustements). Idéal pour regarder des films et séries TV. Légèrement tremblotant si on utilise beaucoup le iPad avec les doigts pendant qu’il est dans les airs, mais ce problème peut être résolu facilement en abaissant simplement le iPad pour que le bas de celui-ci touche la table. Une fois plié, il peut même entrer dans une poche arrière de pantalon. Je recommande.👍
