Piece is sturdy, substantial without being overly heavy. Does not weigh the space down. But provides sturdy and good looking storage space and nice clean aesthetic. Adjustable and all is great, could also use as a half -3 shelf unit if want. Great product. Firm and stable. Easy to assemble. Looks great. Shelves are strong enough to carry a full load of canned foods or bottles of water. The unit is braced in back. Excellent! This was my second attempt at installing shelves in my closet. The first was a Shingay set of shelves that I hated. I found them almost impossible to assemble, the plastic clips holding the shelves kept popping off, and I could not get the shelves to stop wobbling. So I looked around and settled on the CosyStar metal set of shelves, and love it. Highly recommended.

Very sturdy and great for holding lots of stuff. Wasn't missing anything. And was easy to put together.

Update Jan 2026 I have two of these bookcases. They are completely full of books. I thought they were giing to give out from all the weight at some point, but they're still looking great and going strong. Original review: This is a sturdy little bookcase. I am a petite woman and put it together by myself in less than an hour (it could've gone faster, but my 9-year-old son and dog were trying to help). The instructions are very straightforward, and the components are clearly marked. On arrival, the box looked a little beaten up, but the interior packaging was fine. It was well packed! It had a nice styrofoam layer that fit tightly and did not allow the pieces to move within the box. It was easy to put together, and it came with the necessary tool (screwdriver). The leveling feet are a nice touch as my floors are over 20 years old and not that leveled anymore in some sections. Once leveled, it is pretty stable. I only noted one defect, but it mostly aesthetic. Where the top and bottom supports join, they don't align quite perfectly, but you can only see it if you get close (see pictures). However, I don't think this affects the structural soundness of the bookshelf. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with this purchase so far. I've only had it set up for a few days, so I will update my review after using it for a few months.

Purchased for our at-home office. It went together easily, has plenty of space to hold a lot of books, and just looks great. Height, length, and depth are exactly what we wanted. It is sturdy and becomes even more so as weight is added. Would definitely buy again if the need ever arises.
