Upon opening the box, I first inspected all the parts, and everything was perfectly intact and accounted for. The 'clear' and dark line plastics seem a little fragile to me, and when I was handling it to twist open, I felt like I was going to crush the pieces... It's not a deal breaker, but just be careful and patient. The process is super simple, just carefully twist the lantern part from the solar base (the top), and then pull the plastic tab. My lights actually came on the moment I pulled it - my bedroom was sort of dark (see pix). If you unbox them in normal light, this probly won't happen to you. Also, the moment I took them outside, the lights went out. NOTE: there is no actual on/off switch. Once that tab is pulled, it is on and ready to go. If you want all the lights to be in sync, or want a certain color pattern, pull the tabs accordingly. It didn't occur to me until I pulled the first two, and then realized it. I personally don't care, but some people may want them all blue or red at once... Once that tab is pulled, I don't think it will reset to red (the first color). I placed a few at my front walkway, and I like the elegant look, and the perfect size. They are not super obvious and the stakes easily slid into the mulch bed (I need to weed the area, but wanted to show how they look). Easy to assemble and easy to install... seriously, no degree in engineering required. I didn't need 10 lights, but I wanted to have a large set to include backups, in case of damage or non-working lights. I'd recommend the same for anyone - have more than you need. Overall, I'm happy so far - they satisfy what I wanted in walkway lights, and only time will tell if they were a good choice.

These are beautiful and they shine brightly throughout my rose garden and all along my property edge.

Used these to light my walk in a dark cul-de-sac. Work great, excellent light pattern, etc. A little flimsy in that the body of the light easily becomes separated from the stake when moved by the gardener or by me or family members. Nevertheless, light is bright, with a pleasing pattern. After 1 year, about 50% no longer hold a charge and do not light at night. At its price point, however, its not bad, and I'll reorder, knowing I'll replace 50% each year, until the technology trickles down to this price point.

Smaller than we expected but a good value

The length and Design was beautiful. However, the light are very dim, and just in 1 week some of them aren't working, some work about 2 to 3 hours

[It is an IP44 product, workable in all kinds of normal weather, no worries about rain, snow, frost, sleet or thunder] Obviously, the product description says there is no problem even if it rains, but it doesn't work at all. Even when it's not raining, the lights are on and off, but it's raining today, and all of them are off. I want to know which one is true.

Decorative, nice looking and affordable. Like 99% of Solar lights you buy, they come with cheap batteries. The actual product itself is great. If you unscrew the top (like you do to activate it) you can see the battery slot. Just drop in a new and and - unless you have a damaged item, it’ll continue working great. They do need a good day’s sunlight to charge so place in full sunlight and don’t expect much on cloudy days or on shorter sunlight days in winter.

La mitad de las luces ya no prenden a semanas de recibirlas, no alumbran cómo se esperaría , cerca de la Luz de algún foco se apagan, y no duran mucho encendidas las que prenden , material de poca calidad totalmente de plástico , no las recomiendo .

Two of the lights stops working after an hour. Others seem to be okay so far.
