I had to buy after market mounting legs for my TV since it wouldn't fit on my TV stand with the ones supplied. Since having a larger TV would be more prone to falling over, and also because it was recommended in the user manual for my TV, I purchased these straps. The material used is metal on the ends connected to tightly woven fabric, similar to straps used to hang hammocks. Very well made with no fear of breaking. I was able to attach the metal end to the TV by using the extra holes on the mounting legs that jutted up past the VESA mounting holes. Simple drilling into my wood TV stand and I have no fear of my TV being knocked forward whatsoever. Great product!

Whether you are using the legs that come with a TV or using a single center stand these anti-tip straps are extremely important to prevent your TV from accidentally tumbling. You have any option of attaching it to the stand that the TV is on or attaching it to the wall behind the TV. Attaching it to the wall is a lot more difficult installation. I opted to attach it to the back of the TV stand that the television is sitting on because it gives me the option of moving the stand so I can access the back of the TV and the straps definitely hold it in place. It’s an inexpensive accessory that can save you a lot of money in the long run. Installation I would say is not for a novice but if you’ve got a little bit of skill and a tiny bit of common sense the set up is quite easy.

My toddler pulled over our TV so I ordered these right away. They arrived quickly and were easy to install. The straps are a little awkward to tighten but they get the job done. My kiddos are safe from a falling TV and we are safe from potentially expensive consequences of a falling TV. Lesson for parents, get these when you get the anchors for the rest of your furniture if your TV will be in child's reach.

We used this after my 2 year old started climbing on everything and we got a new dresser. I was looking to install it myself but I am not handy with a power drill, so that is why I gave this 4 stars. I would rather have something drilled into my wall than sticking adhesive in "hopes" that it works. It does not keep the dresser completely from not moving but it does the job by barely moving slightly forward but does NOT FALL OVER. It needs a bit of tension which is why it tips slightly forward I would say a 10 degree angle. I like that the screws come with this kit. The straps are also adjustable. Overall, this was the best choice for our little family.

Simple and effective product. Strap was easy to install and while we haven't tested it, it seems sturdy.

We bought a new flat screen to sit on our TV stand and it wobbled and was too heavy. That concerned us with a little one in the house and dogs so we bought this and it immediately locked the TV in a stable place with no wobble or chance of falling on anyone. Huge help with piece of mind when you have little kids that love to climb and pull on things.

This is well built and really well thought out. Because it’s adjustable and comes with a large assortment of screws, washers, anchors, etc. it will suit a variety of situations. It had screws that fit the mounting holes in the back of my Samsung TV, so it was easy to attach. I like it better than the Velcro straps I have used in the past because this won’t permanently stick to my furniture.

The straps look sturdy. The enclosed M8 20mm bolts are not long enough to secure the bracket to the back of Samsung 70” TV. I had to order a separate bolt kit from Amazon. M8 30mm bolts would work with washers. Verify with your TV brand which bolt size you need as you may to get different size bolts to attach the straps to back of your TV.
