The enzymes release the pet urine and neutralize them. I don't have pets but rented and apartment that had prior pet owners. The landlord had the carpets cleaned and it lifted the urine to the surface. This completely neutralized the odor and the bad taste you get in your mouth from pet urine going in the air. Great product! I put it in a spray bottle and sprayed the entire carpet. Smell and airborne offensive taste gone.

Effectively eliminates odors, even strong pet odors. Easy to use. A bit of a scent. I've tried many odor eliminators, and this one is the best I've found. Recommended.

I got this because my cat was having accidents while getting used to new litter. It does a good job of getting rid of the urine smell, but the product itself stinks in a horrible way. You need excellent ventilation after you apply it. After it dries though, all the odors are gone and don't come back, even if the area gets wet.

Unfortunately, this does not eliminate all odor. Even after scrubbing carpet, having it professionally cleaned and then sprayed with this, the cats still go back to the exact places where the kittens piddled.

I am very sensitive to both artificial and essential oil fragrance. This is the only pet urine spray I've found that doesn't have either. It is effective with no lingering perfume smell!

This is my second bottle of this. It is kind of expensive, but I have found it works better for cat vomit than anything else I've tried if you use it first thing and don't use anything else first. Gets rid of the stain in fewer cleanings. I and my cat are sensitive to strong smells so we appreciate the fact that it is pretty much odorless. And it doesn't bleach the carpet out like some products I have used. I also appreciate that it is women owned.
