Ordering any kind of makeup online is always kind of luck of the draw & can be very hitzor-miss. I can't tell you how many YEARS of tubes of truly expensive lipstick, lip plumpers, & lipgloss I currently have lying in drawers. Most of them are rejects due to the colors not being anything close to what was shown &/or described online. Others are rejects due to texture, scent, taste, dryness, consistency, staying power, or a myriad of other things I disliked. Around the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season, I decided to look for a nice red lipstick to match some of my red holiday outfits. Red is a color I very rarely, if ever, wear because they are usually either too dark, too bright, too blue/purple, turn orange on me, don't go with my hair & skin color or... 'bleed' into the small lines around my mouth which is, frankly, at my age (75) all too common. So when I ran across the Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick line & saw all the various colors AND at an amazingly low prices... I was overwhelmed! How could anyone possibly choose a *single* color? But then at those low prices (just over $1.25/tube), why should anyone decide to choose ONLY one!? I ended up choosing 6-7 different colors & my total bill was under $10!! WHAT!!...UNDER $10!??! NO WAY!!! That's a fraction of what I've paid for a single tube in the past, AND, the absolute BEST part? These WnW Silk Finish lipsticks are all phenomenal... wonderful creamy texture, it applies smoothly, it doesn't cake up & dry out on your lips, & doesn't dry my lips out once removed! The colors are beautiful (Cherry Frost, Pink Ice, & Fuschia On Past are my 3 favs!), stay true once applied, & have great staying power. I did reapply it after meals but... so what! While traveling out of town for the holidays, I forgot to pack my lipliner, which is almost always a requirement whenever I wear any red or darker lip colors. *Gasp... Disaster!!! But I found even the garnet red color stayed put on my mouth without immediately spreading into tiny mouth lines & looking all feathery! I can't begin to describe what a miracle that was! Yes, I highly recommend this brand of lipstick... great quality especially for these low prices!! BTW One Note>>> these lipsticks are not totally non-transferable but I've seen much worse! If leaving a faint lip print on a glass is a BFD to you, then this lipstick probably isn't going to work for you... but for quite a bit more money I'm sure you can find one that does.

I absolutely love this Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Dark Wine. The color is rich, deep, and very elegant—perfect for both everyday wear and special occasions. It glides on smoothly and feels very hydrating on the lips, thanks to the vitamins and nourishing ingredients. The finish is creamy with a slight shine, which makes my lips look healthy and soft. While it’s not completely transfer-proof, it fades evenly and still looks beautiful throughout the day. For such an affordable price, the quality is amazing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a budget-friendly lipstick with great color and comfort!

I absolutely love the color and silky finish of this lipstick. It goes on smooth, feels hydrating, and gives a really pretty, polished look. However, it does tend to bleed if you don’t use a lip liner. Without one, it can feather around the edges after a while, which takes away from the overall look. If you pair it with a liner, it looks amazing and lasts much better. Great for the price, just needs a little extra help.

This lipstick is a wonderful reminder that you do not need to spend a lot to get a great quality product. The shade Cheery Frost is absolutely beautiful. It has a rich deep tone that adds a bold pop of color while still looking elegant and wearable for everyday makeup. The formula glides on very smoothly and feels lightweight on the lips. Instead of feeling dry like some lipsticks, this one feels comfortable and hydrating. The ingredients like vitamins A and E along with macadamia oil really help keep lips feeling soft while wearing it. The satin finish also gives it a nice polished look without being overly shiny. I also appreciate that the color is buildable. One swipe gives a softer look, while layering it creates a deeper more dramatic finish. It pairs nicely with lip liner or gloss if you want to add more dimension. One of my favorite things about this lipstick is that it is cruelty free and vegan. It is great to know that a brand can offer a beautiful product while still being mindful of animals. Combined with the affordable price, it makes this lipstick an easy addition to any makeup collection. Overall this is a gorgeous shade with a smooth hydrating formula and an excellent value. Definitely a five star product that proves great beauty products can still be budget friendly.

The lipstick does what it says it will. It is hydrating, buildable and lasts quite awhile. The shades I chose are lovely and bright. Plus— the price is right! I have used lipstick from all over the cosmetic cost range and it is just as good if not better than several of them. The photo shows the lipstick after hanging out and eating at a family party.

Wow, I am amazed at how pretty this is. It just has a hint of a super light purple- not pastel though. It goes on sooo smoothly. Its not super glossy, although it does have some shine. It’s kind of like an in between lipstick and gloss. If you’re looking for some thing for your natural lips to shine through, but I just a tad bit of color to help brighten them up a bit this is for you. I can’t say much for other colors, but this one is beautiful. I did buy a few more colors And some extras for my daughter. At this price, you have nothing to lose.
